Why do I have to keep hearing about this kid over and over again? I mean, it's nice that Michigan is getting a good QB and all, but as a Buckeye fan, I have to keep hearing "your gonna lose in the future cause we have Shane Morris now locked up." I'm like, ah, so? His tape doesn't look any better than Malik Zaire's film, 2013 Ohio QB who'll probably go to Ohio State. But oh no! He looks good. He doesn't have the velocity for the 25-35 yard throws, but throwing across the middle he looks comfortable. His sideline throws look floated, or slow. Maybe it's just an illusion. I think there was one play in there where he threw it while under pressure, and it was an incompletion. He'll get some invites against bigger guys next year which will be interesting, but he looks like a solid player. Definitely the future for UM after Gardner.

I think he's good but why is he only throwing from the shotgun don't we need a QB thats good under centre W/e. Shane knows he wants to go to michigan and gunnar doesn't know yet, and his highlight reel is more impressive. He is throwing the ball in tighter spaces then on gunnar kiel's highlight reel which is more impressive cause he is going to be a JUNIOR next year.

Its scary to think that we could be talking about this kid 6 years from now as our starting QB going into the season. Meeechigan is certainly set at QB for the next half-decade what with Denard in 2011 & 2012, Gardner in 2013 & possibly 2014, Russell Bellomy in 2015, and Morris in 2016 and 2017. Of course, we could still get Gunner Kiel or Bennie Coney in the upcoming class to compete with Bellomy after Gardner graduates.

Go Blue!! By the time he graduates high school Devin Gardner will be a Senior and the QB spot most likely will be his during his sophomore year. Totally agree with the comments by deafro1001. Kid is poised and does a great job of not staring down his target. I think this kid is far beyond his years as far as his skill set goes and will really excel as he starts to fill out.

after watching all the 2012 prospects this kid is miles ahead of them all. Good arm, great footwork, GREAT accuracy. Every other qb stares down their lone target for a 5 count before throwing (college defenses love a qb who you can easily read), you can see this kid run through a quick check of his targets and then throw a man open. Love it! He said his parents cried when the Michigan offer came. Tom Brady is his model qb. You've got to love a prospect who wants to play for your school.
