Ok but the time test in the video seems irrelevant since the thingy only has to heat/cool itself. Your cup filled with liquid will act as a heatsink and I predict it would take considerably longer depending on the temperature and size of the drink, the material and thickness of the cup and such....

the components of this thing are great in a pinch when you need to cool down something on your computer it actively moves heat from one side to the other put it in between a heat sink and what ever you want to cool down and watch the temp go down
