This is a nice slideshow but, I do have a problem with the Mystics from 18th picture. The Mystics photo pictured here is a singing group which began in Brooklyn, New York, USA in the late 1950s. Not The Mystics from Pilsen. My husband Rudy Negron was the lead singer of that group.
I love it too! I grew up on 18th street! I know it was hard! but I loved it! I was lost at the time how we all survived I won't know but the music helped us many times.
awesome editing! i loved every minute of it. i grew up on 18th and paulina from 1981 to 2001. i reside in Florida now but everytime i get homesick i can rely on videos like this! i just start drinking and daydreaming. i never forget pilsen i get teary eyed. i love all of yous that know what im talking about. soon these days people remember will be gone.
I love this video Thanks for the memories I was born on 18th street grew up across from Harrison park, I was born in 1948 lived there till 1972 when I moved south, visited a few times always went to check out my old neighborhood, it's still home to me.
