Don't diminish wards accomplishments. Bute fought solid competition.. and so has ward. But I don't like what ward said either. Ward is beatable. But a lot more people are saying bute is just gonna run through ward and that's bullshit. And Anthony dirrell has a mandatory with ward. I want him to fight both.

in my eyes bute and ward gotta fight for that #1 spot. theyre both at the top for a reason. i dont think anthony dirrell is ready yet but i think andre dirrell can jump right in the mix for that #1 spot after a few fights(assuming he's back to normal).

Here's the problem with those statements: Ward shouldn't be the one saying it. he shouldn't use it as an excuse to not fight Bute. BUT, ward has earned the right, based on TODAY'S standards, to look for a couple money fights. I completely feel your frustration. But if you compare his rec of recent opponents relative to other fighters making big money being selective, there are guys more guilty of this than Ward. yeah he should fight Bute. but the bs in the WW is worse. we all know the names

Man I wish I didn't hear what Andre said about fighting easy fights. Mayweather and Ward are my favorite fighters..... shit I even practice their styles and favorited a lot of their videos on youtube because of their skills and determination is too good to be true, but this is too much. Let the brotha be with his family for a couple of months and enjoy a lil success and see what he does from there. He can't be fighting like Sugar Ray Robinson and shit where they fight 10 times a year.

Anthony Dirrell probably wouldve benn in the super 6 if it wasnt for his cancer situation.It should be noted that Kessler ducked Bute they coulve fought last month. I think both Dirrell & Bute could match Ward in skills, which none of the 4 guys he fought in super 6 could. and both have more power than ward. Not sure if Ward could smoother these guys cause they both have good movement

since none of them fought in the Tournament...let Anthony Dirrell and Lucian Bute fight each other then the winner get Ward

I think Ward is pissed at the HYPE Lucian is getting over all of the other fighters in the division that was in the Tournament fighting each other and how some are trying to make it as if Ward "NEEDS TO FIGHT BUTE TO PROVE HIMSELF" when in actuality it should be the other way around
