This is a good representation of the difference between a fan in a fan boy. A fan would just like the system they play. @ChaoticxAssassin Still, the fact that a person, or people had the opportunity to take 77 million users information isn't a good thing. I find the xbox community more matured than the ps3 community, from my experiences. And the new 360 should have a very low failure rate, however I haven't researched it, so I cannot give numbers, but I do know it's designed to shut off and cool down if it begins overheating. But I've run mine over 48 hours straight gaming once, problem free.
i have a ps3. awesome bluray, incredible exclusive games, impressive service, and a company that actually works to get better. Bought an xbox369 slim cuz my friends said it was better. halo sucks ass, little 12 year olds fighting with each other in every lobby i go into, lack of good games and lacks variety. every xbox exclusive is just a slightly better version of an old exclusive. sold it and bought more stuff 4 my ps3 :)

Well, I've had my refurbished XBOX 360 for over a year and a half now with no problems. The REAL problem is idiots who can't put the controller down for a few hours and insist on playing the damn thing for 5,6 or 7 hours straight, everyday. If you hammer it of course it's going to break. What do some people expect?
I have a 2008 Xbox 360 Elite and recently I have noticed that it is beginning to put rings in my MW2 disc. I know this is a sign of before the RROD because I previously had a Xbox 360 20 GB console that failed on me. I am now wondering if the Elite is gonna break soon. Any ideas?

XBOX360 is best at online service, it is expensive because they need to get the money some where to pay all their servers so that games can run excellent, my PS3 have problems connecting to online servers in games but my XBOX360 doesn't

@lucasnookerReturn Actually I did some quick research and found out why we have to pay for internet... our servers don't run on hamsters in wheels! Your ps3 takes 4 hours to do 100mb update and then halway there crashes and sends you to the beginning. And as for the games, I mentioned one just for arguements sake but if I am to name every single one I will run out of characters! Here are just a few more: Crackdown 1, 2, and 3,Froza Motor sport 1, 2, 3,and 4 and Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. Beat it.
@sixty5999 well actually fact is ps3 has less problems than the 360, yes downloads take longer and so do updates but they never freeze and we never have to pay. you shouldnt be paying for xbox live anyway, with the amount of people who have xboxs and all of the adware on their dashboards they have no need to charge people. people on youtube get 600 a month from adware. from maybe about 50,000 veiws per month. imagine what microsoft are getting daily? they have no need to charge for there service

@sixty5999 and as for games it is completely true that ps3 has more than double the amount of exclusive games that are also far better than 360 exclusives with more effort and development put into them. blu ray discs take advantage of 50 gb of game space for the ps3. xbox 360? 8 gig per disc max. biggest game i seen is final fantasy xiii on 3 discs but only on 1 disc on the ps3. if you dont believe me research it or go to blackbustercritics youtube channel and watch xbox 360 vs ps3 exclusives
@lucasnookerReturn Ps3 doesn't even have as many exclusive games as xbox. We have 208(aproximately) while you have 185(aproximately) . As for the Final Fantasy XIII, you win. I honestly never played any of the Final Fantasies but yes we do have it on many discs. And the games on ps3 being better is complete opinion. I prefer Left 4 Dead and Gears of War to all the games you meantioned before. I played most of them and must admit they were good but I still prefer te games I meantioned.

Yes, both systems have their pro's and cons, but the Microsoft fixed the RROD problem on the newest model. (xbox-s). And the PS3 still has the YLOD. (Yellow light of death)
@TrolltasticLogic Sure, PS3 has YLOD, but the chance of this happening is so low that there is no need to worry. If your PS3 gets YLOD, that's pretty much your own fault for not having it in the correct conditions, but the Xbox (at least the older models) still mess up, even in optimal conditions. I have had my PS3 for several years, with no problems whatsoever, but one of my friends with an xbox, within the first month he had overheating issues AND scratched discs. PS3 has better build quality.
PS3 and XBOX both use DVD's. You also can't blame the console maker when it's the publishers (that publish on both consoles..) that actually choose what they buy to burn the games on.
Older xbox's did have build quality issues, but since about summer 09 those problems have been solved.
@MetrotomX5 The chance of YLOD is actually pretty high, my cousins have 2 PS3's so they can both play whenever. They have an original one they got in 2008 and a slim they got in 2009. The original got YLOD but he had to pay 75$ just to send it in and get fixed. The other one got it just recently so they went out and got a new one. My friend had an Xbox that got RROD but all he had to do was send it in for free and he got it back. At least Microsoft does something about it.

@JMckilla2536 Halo is not even worth it compared to all the exclusives PS3 has. Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, inFamous, Ratchat&Clank, etc. All diferent kinds of games, there's more variety of genres on PS3 than on Xbox. Xbox is basically FPS, FPS, FPS. Alan Wake is nice... But is just them trying to do something with the same impact as Heavy Rain. Limbo is interesting aswell, but it's kind of LBP without colours and diferent kinds of physics. and I can't remember more

I just think you get way more from PS and PS has always had the best games on it (GTA & Final Fantasy were PS exclusives) metal gear, gran turismo. PS has sold more consoles than all of Nintendo's combined back from NES to Wii at 74 million.

@ChaoticxAssassin Still, the fact that a person, or people had the opportunity to take 77 million users information isn't a good thing. I find the xbox community more matured than the ps3 community, from my experiences. And the new 360 should have a very low failure rate, however I haven't researched it, so I cannot give numbers, but I do know it's designed to shut off and cool down if it begins overheating. But I've run mine over 48 hours straight gaming once, problem free.

i have a ps3. awesome bluray, incredible exclusive games, impressive service, and a company that actually works to get better. Bought an xbox369 slim cuz my friends said it was better. halo sucks ass, little 12 year olds fighting with each other in every lobby i go into, lack of good games and lacks variety. every xbox exclusive is just a slightly better version of an old exclusive. sold it and bought more stuff 4 my ps3 :)

Well, I've had my refurbished XBOX 360 for over a year and a half now with no problems. The REAL problem is idiots who can't put the controller down for a few hours and insist on playing the damn thing for 5,6 or 7 hours straight, everyday. If you hammer it of course it's going to break. What do some people expect?

I have a 2008 Xbox 360 Elite and recently I have noticed that it is beginning to put rings in my MW2 disc. I know this is a sign of before the RROD because I previously had a Xbox 360 20 GB console that failed on me. I am now wondering if the Elite is gonna break soon. Any ideas?

1. Buy a 360, pay for online, get halo and pray you dont get the RROD
or
2. Buy a PS3, free online, get CoD, and cant play halo.
All in all, you win some, or lose some. Either way both systems have their pros and cons. BUT the third and best solution,
3. Go out and hang with friends and do something that actually builds upon your life :D

@lucasnookerReturn Actually I did some quick research and found out why we have to pay for internet... our servers don't run on hamsters in wheels! Your ps3 takes 4 hours to do 100mb update and then halway there crashes and sends you to the beginning. And as for the games, I mentioned one just for arguements sake but if I am to name every single one I will run out of characters! Here are just a few more: Crackdown 1, 2, and 3,Froza Motor sport 1, 2, 3,and 4 and Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. Beat it.

@sixty5999 well actually fact is ps3 has less problems than the 360, yes downloads take longer and so do updates but they never freeze and we never have to pay. you shouldnt be paying for xbox live anyway, with the amount of people who have xboxs and all of the adware on their dashboards they have no need to charge people. people on youtube get 600 a month from adware. from maybe about 50,000 veiws per month. imagine what microsoft are getting daily? they have no need to charge for there service

@sixty5999 and as for games it is completely true that ps3 has more than double the amount of exclusive games that are also far better than 360 exclusives with more effort and development put into them. blu ray discs take advantage of 50 gb of game space for the ps3. xbox 360? 8 gig per disc max. biggest game i seen is final fantasy xiii on 3 discs but only on 1 disc on the ps3. if you dont believe me research it or go to blackbustercritics youtube channel and watch xbox 360 vs ps3 exclusives

I honestly never played any of the Final Fantasies but yes we do have it on many discs. And the games on ps3 being better is complete opinion. I prefer Left 4 Dead and Gears of War to all the games you meantioned before. I played most of them and must admit they were good but I still prefer te games I meantioned.

@TrolltasticLogic Sure, PS3 has YLOD, but the chance of this happening is so low that there is no need to worry. If your PS3 gets YLOD, that's pretty much your own fault for not having it in the correct conditions, but the Xbox (at least the older models) still mess up, even in optimal conditions. I have had my PS3 for several years, with no problems whatsoever, but one of my friends with an xbox, within the first month he had overheating issues AND scratched discs. PS3 has better build quality.

PS3 and XBOX both use DVD's. You also can't blame the console maker when it's the publishers (that publish on both consoles..) that actually choose what they buy to burn the games on.
Older xbox's did have build quality issues, but since about summer 09 those problems have been solved.

@MetrotomX5 The chance of YLOD is actually pretty high, my cousins have 2 PS3's so they can both play whenever. They have an original one they got in 2008 and a slim they got in 2009. The original got YLOD but he had to pay 75$ just to send it in and get fixed. The other one got it just recently so they went out and got a new one. My friend had an Xbox that got RROD but all he had to do was send it in for free and he got it back. At least Microsoft does something about it.

Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, inFamous, Ratchat&Clank, etc. All diferent kinds of games, there's more variety of genres on PS3 than on Xbox. Xbox is basically FPS, FPS, FPS. Alan Wake is nice... But is just them trying to do something with the same impact as Heavy Rain. Limbo is interesting aswell, but it's kind of LBP without colours and diferent kinds of physics. and I can't remember more

I just think you get way more from PS and PS has always had the best games on it (GTA & Final Fantasy were PS exclusives) metal gear, gran turismo. PS has sold more consoles than all of Nintendo's combined back from NES to Wii at 74 million.

GRAND THEFT AUTO was on PS1 first though, ur wrong about that. All the best game sever have always been PS. Metal Gear, Gran turismo.
