I've seen them in concert before and seen a lot of video of him playing this solo, and this has to be the cleanest he's played it EVER! He was definitely feeling the crowd's love that night! Gary even commented on how surprised they were by the size of the crowd and how loud we were! We blew them away as much as they blew us away!!!

I noticed that too...the only thing I can figure is that he incorporating pull-offs with the picking to make it sound like the tremelo-picking he does on the original recording! Nuno's playing has always been very percussive and his left hand is like an alien...I stopped trying to figure out what he does years ago! lmao

Yeah, supposedly he also got pissed because his friend he was having lunch with set him up to be ambushed by VH1...I got SOOOO mad when the reunion didn't happen! I was praying it would go through, but when I saw the episode was only 30 minutes long, I knew they weren't successful because the ones they got to go through with the reunion always got the full 1 hour show! ;)
