Wow! This is so well done, the best I've seen so far. When she pulled herself back into the chair, it really looked like she was real! Amazing! Great job!
Aww ! I love how she wiggles around in the chair . Do you have multiple faces ? Because if you do , you could get her to ' talk ' . I never attempted it , but I'm pretty sure it'll take waaaaay too many frames just to say a simple sentence !
Thank you! I took about 500 frames for this, I think. I did a portion of it using the time-lapse feature (I just made to sure make the adjustment and get out of the way every 30 secs) and part by taking individual shots. I used a little nikon point and shoot, a coolpix p1. Nothin' swanky! This was just a test, though...
The little armchair is a piece of furniture that I bought from Volks. The craftsmanship is beautiful....I thought I was crazy to buy it but it makes the doll look more real to have "real" looking surroundings....and in this case, it supported her body and gave her a little "wiggle room"!
I did make that dress! It's sized for an SD10, which is what the doll wearing it is, and she's who is was designed for...I made it for the Dolpa in NY last year. I might start selling some through DoA over the next year...I'll let you know if I do!! :)
I love that it's so real!

I recommend setting this to Ricky Martin's "She Bangs". Your animation is very good; smooth, beautiful, realistic. Keep up the amazing work!

Gorgeous all around! It's refreshing to see some nice smooth animation rather than the usual choppy work you see around the web these days.
How many frames did this take? And what kind of camera did you use?
