  • Wish I was there.

  • Seconded. I'd seel my hard drive, my right kidney and my great aunt to see Chemlab live. Come to the UK, there's kids out here who've never been on an ugly joyride!

  • Man, I'm in America and I didn't get to go! Stupid not paying good job....

  • Is there much of a scene out there in the States? Like, are there rivet heads (for lack of a better term)?

  • It just depends on where you live. I'm currently living in a very small town, but I do know quite a few people that are interested in Industrial music.

  • Yeah, there's only a scene if you live in a big city.

In a small town, you get nothing. In a mid-sized city, a small, scattered scene that has occasional bursts of activity whenever there's a show. In a big city, the answer to the question of whether there's a scene is usually a definite "yes".

  • I agree with Shadowthrone. There is a serious scene across the States still even now almost 20 years after Chase at ReCon came up with the term Rivethead and I called a song that. Also, there are a number of smaller markets that have good scenes: Grand Rapids, Lacrosse, Tampa. And as for playing in the UK, I'd love to bring the band out there, it's just a question of money and the right bands to gig with. also, keep your eyes and ears peeled for PRUDE, the next band that I'll be foisting on you.

  • I still find it weird that Rivethead didn't end up on the Rivethead culture comp, however, Neurozone is still a kickass tune, and you guys were probably high at the time anyway ^__^
