Why is it that many budding organists are drawn to this piece at a young age...? A brave attempt young man. Have a look at your music...some of it is played an octave too high! Keep up the good work
@XXXChrisXXXism Das ist eine gute Beobachtung. Ja, mein Sohn spielte das Lied aus dem Speicher, die nur durch das hören gelernt haben wir erwarben die Noten später und sie lernte das ganze Stück vor einem Jahr.
Whom ever sold you this piece of junk, should have at least tuned and regulated it for the installation setting. By the way, you have a wind pressure problem with your 16' pedal stop. I am neither impressed with this simplified edition of such a great piece. Keep the kid within his playing limits. I see some bad habits developing in his playing technique. It would be best to speak to his organ instructor. Get that instrument tuned and regulated or trade it for a good Allen.
@donovad2007 Pipe organs go out of tune...nature of the beast. This recording was made before I tuned it, as it was just installed the day prior. $50 to have it tuned, or have a kid with perfect pitch like I do, and it's free.
It's a pleasure to watch and to listen to someone so young with so much talent getting so much enjoyment out of playing something as magnificant as a pipe organ. Thank you for sharing this with us.
wow very impressing, but I think you should've started him off on a hammond organ and then a pipe organ so he can play more flexable, rather then a organ that has a handful of tunes! but tell him to keep it up and never give up!!! it's gonna pay off one of these days...
Thanks for the compliments Terrrrrry (with 6 r's)! Ian has a digital piano (Yamaha Clavinova) with an 88 key keyboard that he uses most of the time, but he REALLY wanted a real organ so he could play Bach organ pieces...I have trouble saying no to musical instrument purchases, just ask my wife.
...we're looking for an organ teacher now too to augment his weekly1 hour pinao lessons - know any good ones in SE Michigan?
I suggest not to purchase a lot of instruments, you dont want him to overload himself. It's better to start off on piano and then small organ then more advanced organ, then a church organ!
I been playing piano/organ for over 65 years, and everyday I learn something new! with the organ thiers always something to learn! but you have to keep it up if you want to become a real organist. I consider browsing the internet for organ teachers, and look through your local phone book!
Great job! Keep up the good work.

That is really wonderful for you to provide something so meaningful to your child. something most people cannot hope have for themselves.
Thank you for doing this for your child.
he will certainly reap it's longterm benifits.
Bless you.
