  • LOL your awesome

  • WOW! congrats dude :) hahaha

  • Umm is that another snake? XD

  • If it was not for the internet I might have died never having seen someone play with feces.

    Thank you world.

  • did he eat during those that time

  • truthfully adult bloods can be perfactly healthy and poop evary 5-6 months

  • pplneed to know the bigger the meal the longer it will stay in them .snakes have the ability to use up as much nutrients as possible..thats why ur snakes hasnt pooped.. im talkin about the guy with the BP that hasnt in two weeks.. mine wont poop for a month or two with ease..its what they do..they will poop when there is no nutrition left in what they ate..so never worry..snakes do get constipated but rarely..we just think they r cuz we shit every day..well out stomach isnt as sweet as a snake

  • You should have tasted it for the missing chemical as to why it stayed in his so long.

  • HOLY SHIT

  • thats the shit l

  • blood pythons do not crap that often even though they eat rabbits and huge meals and im sure u have noticed they dont shed much just like hognose snakes i have had a little male and he has only shed for me 2 in ab a year slow growers. raise ur humidity a little but not extreme and lower ur temp ab 5 degrees that should help with the rock urine and just a happier snake

  • Hey dude i own a ball python and it hasnt defecate for two wekks. I dont know what to do. I heard that its good for them to give them a warm bath. I did it twice this week but nothing. What did u do and it defecated?

  • That's a big pile of shit!

  • Bloods dont deficate very often, every 2-3 months or so. Five months is a bit long and the rock hard urate shows the problem. Often times too high of a temp will cause the urates to harden like that. check your temps. nice looking sumatran though

  • I've got this 'Python Secrets' manual... it says if they get dehydrated for an extended period then their urine dries up and blocks their bumhole... apparently you should take it to the vet for a mineral oil enema. If it happens again, take a video of your snake having an enema. That's some 5* worthy footage!!! peace!

  • Normal for bloods.

  • Holy shit.

I am no expert whatsoever so I can not offer any advice. I personally would have taken him to the vet. But I have to say that this is the first time I have ever watched an entire video dealing with and focusing on shit, and I must say that I am intrigued.

You have a beautiful snake and I am very happy that he relieved himself. I am sure he is happy too.

    5 stars.

  • What are you talking about, lol. Of course I still have all my snakes. They're all healthy and are getting bigger by the day! I just don't have to make vids that's why I haven't uploaded any in a while. But yeah, I HAVE 'EM ALL STILL!!!

  • the white stuff is just part of the poop

  • haha funny vid, congrats on this acomplashment thoe!

  • id take him to a vet

  • if he wont go the bathroom give him a warm bath that will get him to go the bathroom

  • yea my ball python poops out those white things too but always 2 or 3 days before it actually poops except this happens once a week after its been fed. i never thought anything of it until i saw this vid so yea...if anybodys got answers, fill me in please

  • Sometimes you have to grasp him behind the head and squeeze it out way before 5 months while in the bathtub of warm water

  • wow.. looks like a dog took that lol

  • i am not to sure wat to say im glad ur snake pooped im guess

  • many snakes can go without crapping but what i do is give them a luke warm bath to get it out works rather well i have owned a couple bloods and they were the same but when the crap came whoo that shit smelled lol anyway the white pieces are normal.

  • He wasn't constipated. They do not poop that much.

  • i have a blood for about 7 weeks now,but he has not craped would you give it a bit longer before going tothe vet

  • Blood Pythons don't defecated for long periods of time. 5 months is not uncommon and some go for even longer. This is nothing to worry about and is normal.

  • Its been awhile but I would still suggest taking him to the vet just to be safe.

Very nice snake. What kind o blood python is he?

  • I doubt your snake was constipated. Blood pythons naturally go a long time without defecating. Just keep him around 82-84 F, humidity in the upper 50s to mid 60s, and soak him once in a while and he should be good.

Also, your snake is a Borneo python, not a blood python. But it's closely related and the care is the same.

  • thats a big turd

  • it sure is.

  • wow..lol thats awesome.. I just bought a baby myself.. its a little under 2 feed long.. but.. I noticed something after I brought her home.. it seems she has the beggining of scale rot =(... Im gonna try to treat it myself and see how that works out

  • scale rot? any pics or vid of the snake i can see?

  • Unfourtunatly, I can only acces a school computer at the moment.. but Once I have internet at home, I will very gladly take some pics of it and show them.. I started cleaning it with a 50/50 solution of Hyrogyn peroxide and water.. and swabbing it with polysporin twice a day...

  • Wow. That made me not want to get a bigger snake.

  • Lol no man, don't let this video be a reason for not getting a bigger snake. this vid was not meant to discourage anyone at all. i think this is only "common" (as some people say) in bloods. other big snakes, i believe, generally dont have this kind of problem.

  • Yeah but that thing...is bigger than MY crap. D: lol

I was thinking of getting something bigger than my Ball python. Something still handleable on my own. Do Blood pythons get 10+ feet? Or can I handle them by myself? Appreciate any suggestions.

  • no they dont get that big. i think sumatran blood pythons are the shortest of all short-tailed pythons but im not really quite sure about this. but bloods only reach an average size of 5 or 6 feet i think. oh, theyre quite nippy, by the way.

  • theyre HEAVY-bodied, though. i guess you can handle that by urself but 2 handlers are always safer especially when your snake reaches its full size. just get a boa constrictor imperator (bci). they're generally docile snakes and imperators dont get as big as the boa constrictor constrictors (bcc)

  • I'll check out the BCI. They're kind of hard to find here where I live though. Only available ones here in the Philippines are Carpets, Balls, Corns..and retics.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

  • Ure from philippines? lol that's cool. just get someone to catch you a retic. i swear retics are everywhere there. im filipino too by the way lol

  • Yes, I am. Retics are dirt cheap here, 5 US dollars lol.

And are you kidding, I'm looking for something I can handle on my own, and not it handle(then kill) me. lol

  • its not uncommon for growing blood pythons to go without defecating for periods of four to six months because of their really efficiant digestive systems

  • so this is normal? there's nothing i need to worry about? thanks for commenting, by the way.

  • yea bro this is a common problem. I'd boost up your humidity... then you might have to wait it out. I would take it to a vet though regardless, cause there is many more reasons why this could've happened. A blood python is a tricky snake to take care of.

  • I guess it's good to hear that this is a "common problem". But yeah, I might take him to the vet but probably not anytime soon. But I will, definitely. Do you think everything's going to be at least somewhat normal now that he finally got rid of the "cloacaliths"? Or is it possible for them to start building-up again? Thanks for the comment, by the way.

  • it will almost positively build up if you don't make some changes to the blood's atmosphere. If you have aim, IM me at Boooooooooger. peace out bro.

  • I'm thinking it has sometihng to do with the size of his tank. His gradual increase in size was unexpected. Now it is almost difficult for him to move around his tank much because his bowl and hidebox are taking up so much space (although I don't recall him moving around his tank at all even when he was smaller). Humidity is 60-80% and temp is more or less 90F. I have a feeling he just needs to be a little more active.
