I saw this production and it was one of the most inspirational theatre experiences I've had as a drama teacher. The students I took loved it too. Mark Rylance is just AWESOME, but supported by a superb cast. The ensemble dance at the end is testament to the skill and control of the whole company.
So awesome. The audience clapping in time with the music, the whole cast staying in synch/step... The music and band. I love the acoustic quality of this more than anything. You can hear the foot stomps, the claps of cast members and the audience really shines. It's rousing! =D
@ashlanddesantos No sadly the BBC never released a DVD of this. If you go to the globe theatre you can get DVDs of the productions of the year and the year before
I saw this production and absolutely LOVED it!! The jig at the end is included in every Globe production and is one of my favorite features - thank you very much for posting this!
Utterly delightful!
