THIS GUYS SHIT! now that you probably wanna tell me off im here to say this guys a hoss hes definantly top3 of best running backs in my book great guy and didnt talk himself up or act like a "gangster" he had major respect for his coach, teammates, and other NFL players all around a great guy
BTW what people never talk about with this guy is balance thru contact
best ever at getting hit and maintaining balance. check for it in his clips-you'll see that most of his biggest runs start with him running thru contact
you haveta have strength to do that, but without exceptional balance, the strength ain't enough to keep you upright or keep you from being easy prey for the next tackler
that and that crazy speed make Bo the biggest 'what if'
In my whole life (All of 40 yrs) I have never seen a more dominant & talented athlete today or yesterday & I am not sure I will see another quite like Bo in the future! He had Jim Brown's football ability, Josh Gibson's baseball ability & Darrell Green's 40 yard speed, wtf! He had the greatest combination of Size (6'1" 230 lbs) Power (450 foot Home runs & laid out many a football player, Boz) & Speed (4.12-40 yard dash). This is once in a Generation Athlete, good lord I am happy I saw him play!
Just about every world-class decathlete is as good or better an athlete (jumping, sprinting, and power) as Bo was. Bo would have a been a good decathlete, but never a great one. That should give you an idea of how exquisitely gifted the world best pure athletes are. And it's not to say they could have played baseball and/or football. Most can, a few cant. Take a look at Brian Clay's SPARQ test and compare to other major-sport athletes. He's in a class alone.
@decadyne I am a track athlete myself & still run Masters today & i consider myself very knowledgeable in Track, Football & Baseball bc I played all 3 sports& I have trained with world class athletes & I have yet to see any track athlete weigh over 200 lbs (Which is huge for track) & run with as much Power &Speed w Jumping ability as Bo & he out weighed the heaviest I've ever seen (Lindford Christie 200 lbs) by 30 lbs & Bo ran a 10.38-100 meters at Auburn U & isn't a track guy! One more thing...
it must suck to start slow every year, win the division, then choke at the end.... Sandy Eggo is cursed and this year will be no different, LT will start pouting and his butt will be sore when you need him the most like every year...
best football and baseball plyer of all time. had his career not been cut short by injury, Bo would hold the homerun record. not Bonds. BO would hold the career rushing title also. I saw him plat a minor league game in Huntsville when he played for the Barons, he caught a sac fly on the warning track and threw a liner that hit the backstop in the air.
Holly Toledo Bill King!
Anyone else think Bo had a bit of the Jim Brown about him? Minus the longevity of course.

I think he would have broken every rushing record in the NFL if he had not had that hip injury.
He was the most dominant back ever in my mind
Truckingboards 2 years ago 4
he did play baseball though he would have had to have been injured before that time.

@Truckingboards He would of only if he was first string nfl player and not played baseball
