to the guys below... i think, you are both wrong and right... it is not a sin to be gay, yet it is sin to be gay. what i mean by this, is that one can think or feel gay temptation, yet it is not sinful until acted on... addicts most often will not get rid of their addiction, but they will be able to control it where they wont be controlled by it. just because you dont smoke, doesnt mean its not tempting. it is what you do after the temptation. do you let it win? or do you fight it? just my view

I like how the bible describes itself as a weapon. The sword of the spirit which is the word of God. Fitting. Because the bible is guilty of the intellectual murder of gays, who chose to end their life because fundamental christians around them managed to convince them that they can't find acceptance if they are gay.

@spook79 i somewhat agree with you on this statement....the bible isnt to blame for the death of gays but the christians are...i know the bible says that no homosexual will inherate the kingdom of heavan, but neither does a thief, murderer, or rapest (any sinner.), people dont realize that we all fall short and thats why jesus had to die. do i agree with homosexuality?...no...but do think that they are just another human battling sin yes, and we should support them in their battle

@crun6530 What is a christian? Someone who believes in the bible. So the bible is the driving force behind homophobia in churches. And christians are people who put their faith in the bible therefore becoming gay haters. You cannot possibly support gay people in "their battle" when the bible is clearly wrong about homosexuality being a sin. "The battle" is actually only in the minds of christians.

This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself..."unless hes gay"...it doesnt work like that

@crun6530 I hear christians compare gay people to thieves, rapists, and other depraved people all the time. Under scrutiny this comparison is a joke. Its like comparing apples and oranges, good and evil. I cannot and will not accept such a comparison. It is sexist and malevolent. Its like telling blacks or orientals they should ask Gods forgiveness for not being white. Its THAT wrong.

@crun6530 Actually I used to be a christian who believed it was a sin too. But I wasn't close minded about it. And I'm glad I wasn't. Homophobia hurts gay people A LOT. Especially religeous homophobia which makes gays believe they are sinning when in fact it has absolutely nothing to do with choice at all. That is nothing short of mental abuse/sexual abuse at the same time. Don't be afraid of letting God down by allowing yourself to do some soul searching on the matter, God loves truth right?

Killing someone or just persecuting them 'in the name of...', is a lame excuse for bullying. God created us, ALL of us and the world etc. For someone to destroy it is wrong, a sin, end of discussion.
