many of you guys that own the 03 aspecs have any transmission problems? just wondering. I own an black 03 aspec and its bad ass except im getting a slight shudder coming into 3rd gear sometimes its a random shudder. i read i need to replace the 4rd gear line sensors before it turns into a slip. awesome video though for an awesome car.!
A-spec is a Canada only option. Different 17 in wheels, oem lip kit, 2 tone interior, black n blue. I'm not sure but I think suspension's tighter also. Black housing headlight n black grill. Sexy as fuck, I own one n I'm giving it a treat in 2 weeks. AEM cai, OBX headers n downpipe, n complete Apexi WS2 exauste setup.
So says the 5AT CL-S dyno sheet on Azine. I think it was actually even 35 hp gain to the wheel. That would be nice but I'm guessing it's not gonna be as much realistically. I'll do some pulls on mine this spring and find out. My TLS is starting to pack on the high miles and the problems associated with it, I just have to know my numbers before I part with it lol.
so you gain 25 WHP just by intake, exhaust mod, because stock J32a2 rate about 190 or 195 whp right? if so then dam that alot of gain but not noticeable lol.
just get XSP header they are comptech copy version I had them for about a year now and I got problem free. I like it because the price tag on $130 shipped. I was looking into Comptech exhaust and header too but when I saw the price... DAM. Check my profile out I got exhaust tone on my J30A1.
215whp is a nice number for just CAI. I threw a Comptech CAI and XS Headers on. People claim up to 30-35hp gains with headers alone so I been wanting to know what my dyno figures would be. Hopefully when springtime hits I can dyno. Definitely noticed a harder top end pull with the headers on though.
Killer ride. I am most likely buying this exact car later in the week. I found one with just over 100K for $13,000. Test driving it tomorrow maybe. Cheers for this video!
