ok so i KNOW that this is so fucking true!! i used to have a friend who only wanted to go to the court. its boring. its always the same shit every week/end. even tho the court is more entertaining than connies
Every time I go to the court I feel like I'm an attraction at the zoo. All the straight people that go there to see 'the gays' in their natural habitat can go fuck themelves! the last time I was there on a night out I over heard a group of straight people saying that the two guys making out was disgusting. then I had a screaming twink, loudly exclaim "ewwww, he's old enough to be my father" when I was kissing a guy I was into. I figured a gay man would appreciate peoples differences in taste etc
Like I said before, if people don't like a certain club... then don't go. It's really as simple as that. It pains me to see people waste their time complaining... you'll get nothing achieved out of it.

Haha. Slightly amusing, but also points out a very big issue. The Court and Connies are the only choices, my girlfriend and I avoid 'straight clubs' like the plauge. The atmosphere is more comfortable at those venues, so therefore the gay community wants to attend, regardless of their boring or skankyness.

It's time Perth got a nice new gay club which a) Isn't under 'hotel' regulations and b) isn't the filthy cesspool that is Connections. Yeah, the court has it's moments...but we really only go there through lack of choice.

Boo hoo -- it's only $5. Just come earlier and stop complaining. Plus Perth only has TWO gay clubs, either The Court or Connections. People need to stop complaining coz it's getting nowhere... If you don't enjoy a certain venue, then don't go. And certainly don't put so much energy in negativity towards them!
