Due to the low population of predators in the US animal populations would exceed carrying capacity which leads to disease and starvation for the entire population of animals. i just wanted to point this out i dairy farm and work a commercial hog operation 16000+ and the vegans and vegetarians are eating and drinking meat and don't even realize it we use the cattle and hog manure on crops (corn) and almost every drink and food now has corn starch and i can tell you it's not just manure goin on the fields it's afterbirth and blood, pretty much whatever gets into the manure pit so do what you want but your still supporting my cause thank you

I have my degree in biochemistry instead of going by the false propaganda of the meat companies. The fats are present in all lifeforms as they make up the cell walls. The adipose fat stored in animal fat is mostly omega-6 and due to the high omega 6 to 3 ratio in meat eaters they are fatter and at higher risk for heart disease. Plants also have all of the needed minerals.

Nonetheless, some people hate the taste of certain vegetables so much that they won't live off of just vegetables. That still doesn't mean they NEED them. Humans are healthier not eating processed meat unless they choose to avoid entire groups of vegetables. Still, eating meat does not solve this problem as most nutrients come directly from plants.

@ridely700 It all depends on what "organic" means in the context. Even if it is unprocessed it could be too fatty as is the case with most meat. Too much omega-6. But done right and eaten in the right ratios lean unprocessed does not harm your health and is good for you if you don't like plants with a lot of protein and iron.

A few problems.
Pigs become feral and destroy habitats killing thousands of animals once released.
Chickens cannot live on their own due to predators.
Due to the low population of predators in the US animal populations would exceed carrying capacity which leads to disease and starvation for the entire population of animals. The only solution is to hunt or increase predator numbers. I find it more human to shoot an animal than allow a wolf to rip it apart while still alive.

i just wanted to point this out i dairy farm and work a commercial hog operation 16000+ and the vegans and vegetarians are eating and drinking meat and don't even realize it we use the cattle and hog manure on crops (corn) and almost every drink and food now has corn starch and i can tell you it's not just manure goin on the fields it's afterbirth and blood, pretty much whatever gets into the manure pit so do what you want but your still supporting my cause thank you
