Beautiful! I am 5 months and hooping has kept me fit! I also enjoy the spiritual aspect in relation to my child. :) I really enjoyed the hoop dancers delicate and slow movements and control.
this is so great Rayna. I hooped through most of my first pregnancy 4 + years ago, until having to go on bedrest (for a comletely unrelated issue). And I hooped the entire way through my second pregnancy 2+ years ago and even in labor. I was the best thing I could've done for my body. It is great that you are able to get the word out there!! Peace, Bonnie
Absolutely beautiful and graceful. I'm just starting out on my hooping journey and have a ways to go. I love how smooth the movement is. Also glad to hear that hooping can continue in pregnancy, I'm not pregnant at the moment, but I'd like to be again some day and I'd hate to have to give up my hoop if I don't have to :D
I am so THRILLED that I was able to RECORD this video! what a "once in a lifetime" moment! this WILL be wonderful to show your daughter, to be sure. Rayna, I feel truly blessed to have been there for you in Houston...truly blessed to know you...and very, VERY blessed to have found Hoopnotica! hugs ~ g
Rayna you look beautiful! Won't this be wonderful to show your daughter this video some day! Maybe we will see her hooping in the future! Much love to you both, C
For all those pregnant ladies out there: dance is one of the most natural ways of exercising, will keep you fit and stress free! Hooping is low to no impact activity and MADE for women. It tones your pelvic floor muscles for delivery, loosens the hips and keeps you feeling sensual through pregnancy! Fantastic for lower back strengthening. Hoops for pregnant women are very light and gently massage the belly & relieve any tension you may have. It feels so good! Give it a try. Get in the hoop!
I bet thats making the baby dizzy and the jumping around could change the form of the baby's bones/head? Arent they still very soft while inside Mommy?
Hooping does not make the baby dizzy. This exercise has been approved by my OB because it is not harmful to the baby. Women continue to run and ride horses while pregnant! The baby is very well protected because she is inside the amniotic sac, inside my uterus, underneath layers of vicera, fat, muscle & skin. Thanks for your question - I'm sure others may have similar questions. Always check with your doc before exercise while pregnant.
This is one of my favorite hoop videos - you are so fluid & clean - amazing!
