is that a 8800GTX. Well i think that your rig is killer. i got a Coolermaster CM Stacker 830 Nvidia Edition with a MSI P43 Neo motherboard, and a Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 ghz overclocked to 3.8 ghz, and 3-Way SLI GTX 260 4 GB RAM 1000 Watt power supply, soon i'll have a Gigabyte X58 3X SLI motherboard with a Core i7 on 4.0 ghz
@seba6452 I just got on of my friends a CM stacker, their pretty nice i like the fan door on the side. Very Sleek. VERY NICE SETUP, Im jealous. that X58 is a thing of Beauty. OH and if i you would take some advice to potentially save you a great sum of money. All of the i7 chips are the same except Intel oc's them and just increases the voltage so it is stable. So your better off just getting the base model i7 chip and overclocking it yourself.
@seba6452 And when you get your i7 what are you doing with your E6750? are you going to sell it? If you are I am more than interested in buying it from you.
@gordyjordy123 well i'm running with Windows Vista Ultimate, but thinking about 7 Ultimate. by the way i'd just bought a laptop home. A Acer Aspire TimelineX 15.6 inch, core i5 2.4 ghz ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1024 MB 4GB 500 GB disk space
I have the same set up but with the swiftech watercooling kit, now after I installed it I realiazed that it could have been a better idea to mount the radiator at the bottom of the case since its the coolest spot inside the case, heat always goes up and I have my rad right where to top exhaust stock fan suppoce to go...I wonder if its worth rearranging everithing for a minor diff in temps for my 4.2 overclock
Well in this particular case u don't have all the heat just going out the top of the case due to the other outtake for air (like the rear 140mm fan). Sooo u are not getting a whole lot of hot air going out of the top of the case (like other cases like to cm 690). Not to mention that all the hot air that comes off of ur rad will just go back into the case, heating up the other components, especially the GPU. Furthermore geeting a few degrees lower is not a lot and not worth it.
Please could you tell me where you got your water cooling system from please? I have exactly the same case as you but i dont have the water cooling system. Thanks.
well i originally got the Gigabyte Galaxy 3d liquid cooling system off of Ebay for like $30.00 and that other blue DD rad for another $10.00. So it is a custom water cooling loop. If you are on a budget just spend some time on Ebay, and wait for a good deal, and remember that the more time you spend the more likely you are to find a great deal. If you have any other questions please feel free to send me a message.
Hi ive added you asa a friend, just a few comments you can take or leave really, you know your power leads to your rear exhaust fan if you wrap some black insulation tape around them they will go the other side of the fan and wont be seen, also on the outside of the case where the side fan is theres that SQUARE piece in the middle thats ideal to stick a case badge i stuck a corsair badge on mine fitted perfect, fancy shorting your mobo you wolly lol, water cooling looks good :)
I don't know the exact CPU but it is a dual core 1.5ghz with a 500mhz FSB and a 1mb cache. The video card is a EVGA 8800 GTS 320mb edition. I am planning to get a better video card and tripple rad, a new CPU, and other stuff for X-Mas.
Yeah, defiantly, I just haven't had the time lately. I was actually planing to borrow my grandmas new camera tomorrow, to shoot a vid because my camera isn't working.
yeah I know for my B-Day I am going to upgrade my whole system, new pump, reservoir CPU & GPU. When I get that done I'll make a better video. I kinda just threw this together in a few minutes.
BTW: The pump wouldn't leak if the retard I bought it used from didn't over tighten the screws. I just have to get some silicone to seal the top on from the store.
i get so jealous when i see cable management slots....i want some!!!!!!!!!!
