@aastith Well on Bliss we actually recorded that record on our own and TVT bought it from us. It was largely recorded live in our rehearsal studio. I was playing a Charvel guitar (gulp!) through an analog 2 12" JBL combo (sorry I forget the make). Actually that combination used to scream.

When we recorded Let's Be Nice we were in a completely different situation. We did that record at Long View Farm in western MA. My guitar was a 1972 Gibson SG Standard but they shipped in a ton of ...

@aastith ...other equipment for us to use. All kinds of vintage guitars and amps. Strats, Les Pauls, Marshalls. I used a lot of the vintage stuff but often gravitated to my baby (the SG). Youth of America was recorded with the SG which can be seen in the TVT video. That guitar always used to have a great growwwl to it. I loved it. I eventually had to sell it because I had it worn it into sawdust.
