  • gRATIE, just found a bass and tyhis is the sonhg i wanted to learn

  • this sounds like Jenny was a friend of mine

  • Yeah, but... that's a different note. The note played in the song is an octave lower... This line works but it's not a perfect copy of what's played in the song. It's cool though, it's your interpretation man

  • @Zackr27 Because that way it looks like the riff is more complicated. I never play open strings when I can avoid it while playing to an audience. Plus it just plain feels better.

  • @flooperduck Totally agree. I prefer 4 fingers/fret intially to help me decode the scale pattern. The later after thousands of repeititions I might start using opens. However, for all learning beginners who know root and scale patterns ditch the opens.

  • Why would you play 7th fret G string in the begining first measure (of the first riff) when you could play the same note as an open A string?

  • You are wrong bro.

  • @zlat76 how is the good version?

  • You play it differently that I do. I think your way is better. I play it on the G and B string closer to the headstock.

  • Thank you for the lesson. Between this video and the tab I got it down fairly quickly :)
