a guy orderd a chicken tikka once and asked for gravy because it was too dry so the resteraunt owner or chef at the resteraunt made up a creamy tomato based sauce and put it on his chicken tikka, the chicken tikka masala was born, this is a well knowen fact, and is why chicken tikka masala is considerd a traditional british dish.
