Can you clarify--- Ty Power's grave is a bench or there is a bench above his grave? From the film it looks like the base of the bench could hold his casket above ground. Is that what they did? If they did, WOW!!!

Everything about Rudolph Valentino had a hint of sadness, his sad eyes, his enduring hope that he would find love with a woman who would give him a quiet homelife with children and that he would find true appreciation for his film work. Perhaps he would have found this happiness if he only lived longer, but it was not to be. He will always be remembered and loved by so many, even to this day. An icon with unfinished dreams. Rest in peace Rudolph.

If you want to have a great time, the cemetery screens movies every Saturday night during the summer on a large field in the center of the cemetery. Just Google "Cinespia". People bring blankets, wine, cheese, big meals, snacks, candles, and lots of friends. Get there early (7:30-ish) and have fun!

Great video! I used to live down the street from Hollywood Forever, back when it was a heartbreaking mess. The new owners have really done a wonderful job restoring the property. This is a must-see for visitors.

A cemetery tour of Los Angeles would not be strange at all. There is much history here, including old Hollywood.

Shoah Garden Console is in the adjacent Jewish cemetery, Beth Olam. It is managed by the Forever network, but it is a separate property.

Bette Davis is buried in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, in the Court of Remembrance.

Hollywood Forever Cementary is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I've ever been to.
