the album version of this song is good but this live performance is even better, by 1000 times.

they also pull off the noise breakdown thing at the end really well here. I've seen them play this live where it was a little bit more chaotic during this part and they seemed unsure of how to end it and finally ariel just signaled for the band to stop. he then said, "don't ask me wtf just happened. i have no idea."

Sounds to me like the keyboardist sings the higher pitch vocals sometimes and he was using a kaossilator fx by korg that uses a laser on an x y axis modulated by the movements of the hand, not a new fx but a cretive use of it!
