  • dude it sounds awesome when fast kind of like a buddy rich thing its awesome

  • Yeah, and Mike Johnston crushes you...

  • @thelinedrummer There he is! The Mike Johnston troll! Seriously man, it's getting funny looking up your ridiculous comments. I think you put down EVERY teacher on YT that is worth their snuff, lol. Which hey, if you get hit with a troll by the name of thelinedrummer, you're doing something right! Grow up man.

    -Stephen T.

  • @DrummerEtc haahha ya its like being covered by Weird Al, you know you're someone when thelinedrummer trolls you!!!

  • @thelinedrummer : Mike Johnson ??? Back to reality man, MJ is nothing near the great Steve Holmes. Millions of view on Youtube means nothing (if so, Andrea Vadrucci or Cobus would be the greatest drummers on earth. This is just ridiculous !). Get a fucking life and stop trolling everywhere. Your lack of knowledge does not help you at all...

  • @bwdrummer1980 Yeah, and Mike laughs at Steve. Mike is out there changing the world, and Steve is sitting in his basement designing games that nobody wants. Mikes got the best selling drumstick in the world, and the highest grossing music site in the world, what does Steve have, except for a bunch of Vinnie clones on his site that nobody goes to.

  • @thelinedrummer : i don't give a shit what you're thinking about Steve Holmes. You're just an ignorant asshole...

  • @thelinedrummer Lololol...I like how we've taken this conversation away from drumming completely and into the realm of how much an artist can monetize and sell themselves. Net profits have ZERO to do with talent...and to be honest, a true artist doesn't gauge his success by how many sticks he can sell, how much traffic he can get, etc. It's childish.Steve keeps it about the music. And seriously, knocking his game design??I just wonder how much Mike pays you to troll for him.

  • @DrummerEtc that says a lot coming from you, a guy who copies Mike's every move and wishes he had a tiny piece of the success Mike has created. Go post your crap on house of drumming, youll fit right in over there.

  • @thelinedrummer Mike can have his success,he worked for it. I don't want anything to do with the man or what he has.I've posted lessons on YT for years now....so has Steve and many others.I could care less what MJ does on here, seriously. It's funny how he now has a patent on online drum education and anyone who comes CLOSE to looking like an drum educator in video format is called a "copy".

  • @DrummerEtc

I don't think Mike would pay someone to troll for him, atleast that is not the impression I have of the man.

    Btw, nice lesson Steve.

  • @Gretsche87 Lol,I said it tongue in cheek.I was simply referring to how "devoted" thelinedrummer is to Mike.Literally EVERY post you come across that he makes is in reference to Mike, how great he is,how he invented cottage cheese and the modern day automobile...simply making fun of how over the top he is.And hateful actually, in every post he makes...and he posts on alot of FANTASTIC teaching vids.Don't think it's the image Mike goes for, even from his students.

    And you're right, GREAT lesson!

  • @thelinedrummer

Man, if you were to switch trolling YouTube videos for practicing drums, you would be a badass on the kit. Quit hatin'.

  • Good instructing...If only you could get 'Kermit' from out of your throat.

  • Brilliant!

  • Thanks!

  • oh god,i can jsut hear a rock song with that in it,I AM OFF TO WRTIE A SIC KSOLO

  • NAAIICE!

  • Dude, you just helped me so much. I've seen and heard it, but didn't understand it untill your vid. Funny thing is I do it all the time but never thought to throw in that double after the flam. =) Thanks again. 5 stars.

  • trully inspirational!!
