  • omg ,thats adorable,i just wish my hens become broody cuz i dont have an incubator nor another cage but my hen sits on 1 egg for some time and after i come back its gone(cuz they eat it)and...my cage has termites in it. :-( waaaahhhh!

  • Where is this at? That is a very neat incubator XD

  • my baby chicks hatched a couple of days ago

  • Go baby chick! go!

  • Um....shouldnt the broken pieces of shells be removed? cause the piece under its head looks sharp enough to harm it.

  • Oh so cute the little chick hatching. Miracles of life =]

  • The Mad City Chicken says "nice footage". Good job.

  • thats just beautiful

  • Amazing everytime I see it! Chicks are graet!

  • rrrrrr so cute

  • it looks like my sweaty balls covered in olive oil lol 8============D

  • how long does it takes to hatch?

  • I am not quite sure how long it would take a regular chick to hatch, but those chicks did hatch less than 3 hours for being in the heated box.

  • Most chicks will hatch within 24 hours of first pipping. So thoes chicks probably pipped the day before or that morning. Once they decide to zip around and hatch, it takes about 30 min.

  • hey Vi, that's a chick? o.0 it looks so different.. must be some kind of other bird. I've had a chick before and that's no chick for sure.

  • tommieboi: if you had chicks hatch under a hen then you wouldn't see the chicks until they had fully dried out and "fluffed up" - they probably are the same type of chick that you had, just not dry :)

  • Thanks for your kind comment, it was at the Chicago Science Museum. I believe there are a few other science museum around the country do have this kind of display.

  • this looks so exciting! this looks fun watching an egg hatch!

  • Nice video. I hear alot of birds, and alot of people. What is the place this video was taken at ? Is it a place people buy chicks? A show? Must know, sounds interesting and I want to do research now! :)

  • IT was at the Chicago Science Museum and Industry. A lo tof people were surrounding the area to see the chicks hatched ;)
