i just got back from florida last weekend and i loved it best ride in florida better than anything else i loved it i am big harry potter fan anyway but it was still awesome my dad loved it and he has never seen any of the films and knows nothing about harry potter

When I went there was virtually NO line!! I went I. The single rider line because my parents didnt wanna go and I just walked right up!! This ride is FANTASTIC. You can tell because my eyes were closed most of the time!!

Also if you get motion sickness I will warn you that this ride moves A LOT!!! It uses a robo-coaster, and for those that don't know what that is it is basically a mechanical arm the runs on a roller coaster track. The very first second you do a full on back flip. It's still an amazing ride that I absolutely love. Just relax and fully immerse yourself into it. It helps with not getting sick.

It took almost an hour to get on the ride but i loved every single minute of it. My tip for anyone who wants to go on it; is to go on the single rider line, it goes by so much quicker than the actual line, unless you feel like standing in the heat for a long period of time.

We rode this 3 weeks when it opened... 2 1/2 hour wait.... We got off and all looked at each and "WOW!!! We gotta do that again.....so you know what 21/2 hour wait again...it was SOOOO well worth it! If you are a HP fan... I HIGHLY suggest taking a vist to this theme park ...and riding the magnificent ride.

The ride was the best I went on during my time in the park! I got in line an hour before the park closed, so the wait time was only 10 minutes or so. I'd hate to wait 2 hours to get on, but I say it's worth it. The experience was beautiful and I loved the tour as well, I just wish people would stop with the flash photography. It gets annoying and sort of kills the feeling.

@Lovepink4596 I'm terrified of roller coasters, I ride very few of the rides at Universal because of this, for me it's that I hate that feeling when you go down, it scares the shit out of me. This is my favorite ride ever, it's really, really, really fun, and not scary like a rollercoaster, same with The Simpson's which is at Universal Sudio's, not IOA, that's an extremely fun ride as well, and they're very similar. This Harry Potter ride is awesome as long as the imagery doesn't scare you.

i went their yesterday the wait time was only 5 min, we tried to get my brother to go on it, but he didnt want to we'll try again another time. I was a little nervous on it because i thought it would be a coaster and i have a slight fear of them. but all it uses is coaster seats because it swings and turns you abit, but its like Spider-Man on steroids basically. The spider part freaked me out a little though, i like spiders but if they're big as cats then we have problems, but it was a great.

Its a motion simulator, but you don't feel the real action until you enter the area where it is pitch black. Here you are moved from side to side, up and down. Even on your back. However you never go upside down. You go from one side of the dark hallway to the other which is the whole ride itself, then you are able to leave your veichle.

I HATE rollarcoasters and big drops where you feel your weight drop. are the drops on the ride like a rollar coaster at all? And how fast is it? I hate the feeling of not being able to breath because I am being zoomed from one place to another.I may just walk in the queue…

@90210potter The ride is confined to not very roomy spaces in the castle, so the drops aren't very big. And it's slow enough so you can take in everything there is to see (like the Forbidden Forest), but fast enough to get a thrill out of. I was anxious going into it, but it was so fun that I left the anxiety behind : )

i was there two days ago with two girlfriends that hate roller coasters and they went to the forbidden journey several times in a row! it's really worth it, mainly for HP fans! ;)

@90210potter Did you ever Do the Back to the future one they had? Its pretty much you sit in a Seat they lift u up a little and you have a "d-box" motion seat except you in the air on a somewhat rollercoaster. You don't move forward ona rail your inside and just get pushed up and down stuff like that. its a hybrid of simulator and Rollar coaster. better to describe it as the starwars ride where you go and help them destory the death star.

You sit on a bench and they take you through the castle, while a HUGE screen is always in front of you, and you feel like you're flying with Harry, Ron and Hermione!! :) They blow air, some fire breathing, it's all really fun!! Though, not good for those who get motion sickness easily!!! I had to close my eyes :) But totally worth it - a great experience!

@90210potter You sit in a chair, and you are moving, its a ride; not a simulator. It is not recommended for younger children, because there are jolts and fast movements. Although, my 11 year old cousin went on it and she loved it. Don't go on it if you are prone to motion sickness, or scared of heights. Although you are safely in the chair, your legs are dangling. You don't do a complete loop, but there are times when your legs are off the chair and you are facing the ceiling.I loved it!Have fun
