• I'm a sweet, friendly, honest lady.I've always waiting for a good man who can love me all my life ,so I got Romance2012 on ...T'ALL' HUB.c⊙m ...told it's the first and best club for tall people and their admirers. …

  • realy nice work.

  • very cool, nice work. i can learn from some of your work on my own stuff :P

  • what program did you use

  • Dude, this is beyond awesome. It's epic!!! Stupid spammers kinda ruin this pic for everyone else, but you shouldn't listen to them. You got skillz. :DD

  • Not bad. Just unfinished. :))

  • so how long did it take you to pull this epic drawing off?

  • This is just Awesome! Your paint skils are awesome.

Would be very nice if you check out my Videos hehe : )

    greetings from germany!

  • people need to stop calling these speed paintings. they are time-lapse paintings. speed paintings are real-time paintings that are done in minutes.

  • @UserName222222 it is a speedpaint, it took less than an hour to finish, the relapsing that is on youtube has nothing to do with that.

  • The sword is a little cliche'

  • what brushes are you using?

  • do you only use 1 layer when speedpainting??

  • nice job.. u need more anatomical study.. the right hand is broken and the dynamic position was more "properly" for this composition. anyway .. keep it real!

  • We have similar tastes in art, @Dileart. . . heh-heh.

  • What program is it?

  • what prograam and are you using a wacom pad?

  • u have a very creative mind

  • no music?

  • There are some influences from DooM happening here.

  • he stands like a pussy

  • we are workin on a 3d game.. sub and add if u want to join!

  • wath programm you use?

  • I would say photoshop

  • I'm glad someone else noticed the arm thought a was makin it up for a second lol, but then again its a creature not a human so you can do whatever you want with the muscles. The beauty of art!

  • this man does not know the anathomy of human body. .arms fucked up. .but still ...good art

  • @meribdal i dnt think its human

  • Take several insane people, give them 95% the lethal dose of adrenaline, give them a sword, and throw them en masse at whoever you don't like. Always a good idea.

  • I am no artist but u must say that i am inpresed this is great what you did keep it up.

    Try doing comics.....

    GJ AGAIN !!!

  • I fucking eat that. "Theres no right way to do art" shit up. You'd be lying if you thought another artist couldn't do what this guy has done better. He should have drew the whole thing out because thats not the ONLY way of doing something but because its a better way and for all this talk of "flowing" with speed painting I find the piece rather rigid and straight. Its a good piece of course but learn to see the faults. Its not going to hurt him if he knows them. Keep up the good work man.

  • First of all, in order to create great artworks and to keep developing yourself dramatically, you need theories -which are actually science- to support that. therefore you Must have a good knowledge of art bases.

Secondly, speed painting is all about fast gestures and subconscious drawing. this allows you to come up with non expected shapes that somehow is so unique that it is nearly impossible to have another guy make things the same way you do.

I see mannerism style, Awesome work Dileart.

  • I myself think it is a fantastic piece. Done very freely. Why would it need to be drawn out first? Anyone can color in a drawing, but not everyone can just come up with something like this without the lines already there to guide them. This is great and I think this method is perfect. Oh and the legs looking unnatural.. Hmmm did you look at the character at all, what is so natural about it? The legs fit the proportions and shape of the being.

  • I dont aprove the method of finishing the upper body (or other parts) and not having the whole concept sketched

Notice how the legs look unnatural?

Or maybe it's just me dunno

  • There really is no RIGHT method of art. Every artist has their own method and process of discovering their art. I believe every piece of art is a learning process. But you sound like one of my old art teachers, always trying to force their method down your throat, but i understand where ur coming from. But it is a speed painting, and you can tell he's just letting it flow...

  • agree. but no, i am not trying to "force my method down your throat" :D. I just find it easier this way. Let's say i myself dislike This method (not the result but the method itself) Every1 has unique style and this is part of it, i know :)

  • afroblack: all 13 years old kids like stuff like this

  • you should make some blood dripping off the sword and a little splattered on his face like he's been busy, but then but some bullet holes in his chest and have it splattereing out of his back cause it looks like he's done battling and about to fall over anyway.

  • The first pose is really cool, but the second one is bad... And why is he using flip flaps?

  • get a bigger weapon if he should hold it with two hands.

and yeah, ppl are right, the first pose with your legs was much cooler.

  • the pic is nice, but look at HIS LEFT ARM biceps, its in the place where triceps should be, and the right hand.. what the fuck happened with his right hand? is it twisted rarelly?, Take it as Hints Not as a BAD COMMENT. because the whole pic is nice even with that body deformation. HEHHE

  • first pose was better

  • awesome concept design

  • i like the first pose better

  • agree first pose was better. then it turned into a welding technician with torch in hands :) make a couple of ctrl z

  • It's a good job, but I really don,t like the pose. The proportions seems unreal (c'est voulue?) but it's okay.

  • casi,pero no...

eso solo es un boceto, te falta el detalle

  • fuck you

  • left bicep is in a weird orientation in relation to the hand---other than that minor oversight, well done.

I aspire to achieve similar results in digital art.

  • you didnt mention how long it took to terminate this in real time. ths...btw, nice job, specially on the head:)

  • must go faster.

  • i really liked the legs how they were at first..lots of movement in that pose!!great job nonetheless!

  • Yeah i liked the first pair of legs better

  • lol necron

  • Can you take a course like this on high school or college?

by the way your drawing is amazing just spend more time blending the colour.

  • i guess you can, but in order to be good at computer/pad art, you have to be good at traditional art, so in other words, if you're taking an art couse, you're also learning how to draw on the comp

  • yes and know u can take drawing classes. and u take photoshop classes. but most of the time they teach u how to edit photos and such. u have to practice drawing and painting by hand to know how to do it in photoshop

  • AMAZIN'... tottally amazin

  • another great creepy speed paint! great work here.

  • love it:) really gd

  • Good original concepts are hard to design. I submit this as good as anything here because of it's originality. Great work.

  • hey nice drawing buddy, what kind of tablet do you use?

  • uh...wat is it?

  • Oh My, I know this is bad guys, YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME OR DEFEND THIS PAINTING :P Thanks for all the comments and questions, but really HAHA, its over one year old guys. Get over it ;) but yess, THANKS FOR QUESTIONS AND ALL THAT.

  • ^^ think about how old all famous pictures are. why not to defend if its great

  • @Dileart Shut up! I would kill to be able to paint/draw like this... =[

  • i'm sure you would made it better...

  • umm mabye "it suck" cuz u get it

  • How did you get the larger right click brush menu?

  • i want to know that too :D:D

  • awesome concept design

  • I don't agree one whit with these fellows who think you need to "commit" to a pose from the outset. That works for some, but obviously not for others. Your style seems very improvisational and revisionist, which is a unique advantage of digital art; I say roll with it. You've got skills.

  • I like how you draw and then later you come up with the idea

  • one word man: MUSIC

  • Nice paint, but you seem to have a problem with legs lol.

I've always thought that the legs is the most difficult part to integrate in a draw. I understand you ^^

  • really !!??i've always found hands the most difficult to integrate

  • feet are my problem

    hands are my specialty :D

    gj btw :D

  • yeah, legs looked better separated but it's still a wicked job eh

  • umm can u tell me what u used to record this and where i can find this? thats a cool pic but it could be worked on^^

  • Great character you've created here. Love the mask. But the legs looked better seperated. Just try to commit to a pose from the start,I see a lot of these speed painting videos and I see too much mucking around changing poses. If you're a confident artist determine your character's pose from the start eg sketch on a bit of paper first then jump into Photoshop, Painter, whatever program you use.

  • I agree, the composition should be set from the start. The painting looked its best at 4:21

  • Very nice, although a few things could be touched up. Just keep in mind, when your drawing your poses, it's best to get up and pose it yourself. That way you can feel if it's right or not. (make sure no one is looking first) =)

  • well i agree with kreion about the anatomy, ur painting is great n so is the idea but draw some guys that are really muscled up, it helps with anatomy but draw em using a muscle figure (like the ones on health magazines etc)

  • to short sword, and the legs wasent good

  • i think thats just amazing. i dont think everyone understands how just wooow that is. youve got ur own style, your drawing has some kind of effect, its not just copying out som other drawing or picture, and i just think thats so much better. anyways :) nice job :p

  • wow

  • Only downside is not calling it time lapse. Other than that this is some sick art man. Keep up the great work!

  • very talented dude u r the best!

  • You are a dumbass, the anatomy cannot be wrong unless the subject is specified. If it was stated to be a "30 year old male human being" you would be right, but it isnt stupid ass. Take an art class.

  • some music will be great. and I'll be awesome if you recorded it from the beginning. people will think you traced this or something.

  • I bet people think that. Ehr :S

  • @britishdanceparty All people have different tastes for music, and doesnt the recording PROVE that he/she can draw, even if it as traced? why do you complain, just enjoy the pic :]

  • wow! very talented!

  • Thank you!

  • Nice work.. and the guys with stupid spam stfu!!!

  • Thank you Th0oMm! hehe spammers sucks :P But its the internet! heh

  • Nice.

  • i like it and all but i think the muscle structure is a little off on the left arm

  • The muscle structure IS off. I'm studying anatomy now, but didn't know as much at the time hehe. Thank you!

  • incredible. one thing though, the sword is kinda short.

  • i gotta give credit for people who do stuff like this im terible at drawing i really dont know how u guys do it !

  • what format is best (for quality and Junk)

  • what did you use to capture the whole sequence?

  • Camtasia Studio 4 trial. :|

  • That's awesome speed paint!

  • Is that a tecno-ninja wearing a skirt?

    JK, nice.

  • how did you capture the whole sequence? what did you use?

  • put music on it -.-

  • nice nice BUT !

this human or whatever ...he s too low dynamic .

he s like a sculpture ,not a man with a sword after or before fight ....

try to make he s story .and write it again...

    just my advice .

another thing ,all of You (speedPainters) ..Your pictures are realy realy low detailed....i dont know why ,maybe it s too dificult ,but try to paint him ^ or anything with more details ,in my opinion than it will be ten times better :)

    greatings man :)))) keep workin

  • if hed put more details, then it wouldnt be speedpainting. speed painting have the influences of impressionism, which focuses on how light falls at an object at a certain moment. :p

  • yeah, right and wrong I guess, You are right as a "speed paint" is what it means, A rushed painting, not really caring about the technical stuff, more going on quick creative hehe.

Although, when I did this I was pretty scared of doing something that I couldn't fully finish of ( as a speedpaint ) and therfor i kept it pretty general and boring, low on details etc.

Thanks for watching everyone! Never imagined to get 30.000 views hehe

  • lol great painting this guy was a cyborg ninja how realistic was that?totally messed imagination

  • OMG I just put search for speed painting on youtube and i cant close my mouth

  • cool. Who is that guy?

  • just something from my imagination :E

  • SWEET*********

  • Thas some sweat ass paintin!

  • thanks for the inspiration man...!!

  • awesome paint!

  • could you share the settings to those brushes? this paintings awesome btw!

  • sorry which program is it==????? lol!

  • haha he looks like a GAY playing golf. "oh four" hihi ^^, LOL

  • As for what revolver said about the impossibility of his arm position..i managed to hold mine like that just fine with a hockey stick. Whole drawing is really good in my opinion. As for the legs i do agree somewhat on their quality. They arent as interesting as the rest of the painting. But still, great job, keep it up ^_^

  • great drawing but stop zooming in and out! its really distracting and gets really annoying

  • Heh, that's just so Dile can see if what he's doing goes well with the whole :P

  • I love it, but the legs... meh.

  • did you make those brushes or download them? they look pretty sweet if you did custom-make em.

  • it looks like bilo, borats retared son

    -=-=-=-=-=-

  • isn't that Bokito?

  • There are mistakes at his right arm. in that position he CAN`T hold the sward like you made him. just try to hold a stick like he does ;).. of course a lot of more anatomy mistakes. for the poor , this is a good painting

  • I agree 100%, I'm learning anatomy right now ! :)

    Dile

  • it is still great

  • I love this speed painting stuff.

How did you get into this and how much practice did it take to become decent at it? Also, do you use some sort of pencil thing that's hooked into your computer or are you just using a mouse?

    Thanks... really cool drawing too.

  • I'm been drawing for 1.5 years constantly , I did 3D before that. Thank you!

  • This sounds stupid because everyone else knows what they are talking about, but what did you make this on?

  • Looks like photoshop.

  • hahaha very funny -.- trying to hide it by saying they piss u off? not working bitch

  • Great character pose, great job. You can click on my username to view some of my sci-fi art.

  • Nice stuff there.. I'm trying to learn zbrush myself ;)

    -D

  • and you've only just turned fifteen! that's great progress man. I started drawing when I was a little kid and it's an awesome feeling to see your progression as you get older. Allthough I have to admit, you're certainly alot better than I was when I was fifteen. I wish I had acess to Photoshop back then!! keep it up pal.

  • Thank you! Although.. its not the software who makes a person ; ) I draw more with pencil/paper then i do with my wacom = )

  • awesome

  • im not into this type of stuff but i think u just changed my mind thanks

  • AWESOME!!! i've got photoshop too and and want to learn it!!! man, where did you get those brushes??

  • AAAAAAAAAAH, YOU ARE AMAZING, man i got photoshop too and i really wanna learn this.. i've got only one question: where can i find those brushes that you use?? PLZ RESPOND!!

  • You're very proficient in the way that you use Photoshop! I believe you can strengthen your work by becoming more familiar with the human anatomy, our natural machine which you are trying to depict. Check out "Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist" by Stephen Rogers Peck. Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks ! I have the book, and many many more.. I'm studying anatomy right now.. trying to learn it really serious! I just turned fifthteen so i have a lot of time to practice :)

    ~Dile

  • great.

but isnt da sword a bit short?

  • is more like a "machete"

  • maybe it is :) thanks for pointing it out for me!

    hehe ^^ midget sword :)

  • wats the software calllled??? plz reply

  • Photoshop

  • um i really like it its sooo cool! but um what is it? :S

  • yungkee, thanks for looking by! i used camtasia, and compressed it with windows movie maker!

  • lovin' it, man, always improving through each art. you're putting it up on your conceptart sketchbook, right?

and I need to know, what're you using to film it!

  • Thanks mate!

I added a new video to youtube. feel free to check it out!

  • Way cool, mate! I am glad you have a YouTube as well. It's nice to see fellow artists work. Yes, do post more and thank you for the comment!

As for this video, it would be nice to see some texture on the dude. Cheers!
