I am normally not very emotional when it comes to situations I'm not personally a part of, but this little guy brought tears to my eyes. I know it isn't "Autism Awareness Month" anymore, but there's definitely no expiration date on these kinds of things, so I'm going to be re-posting it on my Tumblr and Facebook. One of the brightest and most helpful kids I've ever met has Autism. Dominic is quite a special little boy. (:

But look at that brilliant boy! This is the perfect video for Autism Awareness: It has a beautiful child with Autism speaking to the people. It helps people to connect to the video and motivates them to get involved.

My Neice is autistic, she just turned 5 and seein how amazing he is doing just gives me more hope that if we keep working she'll continue to defy what the doctors say she can't do too.

I teared up when I saw this vid... I have 2 boys on the spectrum, they are more high functioning than this little boy but its still difficult for them!! I have had people stare at us in stores just because my boys find it hard to function in large crowds or social settings... its unfair that the world wants to label them as naughty instead of trying to understand why it is that they react differently. Dominic did an amazing job! I know a lot of 4yr olds who don't have autism who wouldn't have done that well.
