Hey man. I trying to sort some things out and one question shaped in my mind. If I learned that song not thinking about independece of thump at first and I can keep up thumb work, should i re-learn it the way you're showing in this vid? What do you really mean by saying "thumb independece"? How can i figure it out?

Hey, to tell you the truth, I have no idea how Tommy does it. For me, it's more like memorizing the whole thing (kinda like what you're doing). If you can however get your thumb to move independently (which I am still learning to do), then you'd have mastered the boom chick method :P
