@dudesa123 Actually, both songs ( Lopez and this one) are copies of an ancient and traditioanal south american musica (bolivian) called "llorando se fue".
This song made my day, such a powerful song which has energy to move mountains.Beautifully composed and sung and all four charachters dance their heart out in an explosion of euphoria. Simple pleasures of life are always the best if only we learn to value them, God bless those who poured their heart and soul in this mesmerising song.
Legally, a songwriter is allowed to use up to 8 measures of any song. Thus, borrowing the line from this song fits the legal rights of JLo as songwriter.

@ixoralover racist. on what premise are you getting such a conclusion? you aren't allowed to say races "stink", i could say europeans used to stink during medieval times because they showered once a week or even less. That wouldn't be racist that is just plain truth but just saying randomly that "Indians stink" is just plain racist with absolutely no evidence to support it. @star4galaxy Actually, all of those songs copied from the song Llorando se fue, a Bolivian song, which was made in 1981. Lambada was made in 1989 and Sochna Kya the same year.
This not where J.Lo sampled her new hit single.......it was from "Lambada" which she acknowledged by including it in the title of her single "On the Floor (the Lambada Song)"......the Lambada was released around the time this movie was made so it is this movie that copied Lambada......this is not the original.....
@andreiliver : lambada itself is not the original, its a copy of the 1981 song Llorando se fue by the bolivian band Los Kjarkas...Jlo acknowledged the copy! not the original!
These days Brazil is taking a LOT from India. Just check out their TV dramas. You could swear you're watching an Indian drama with all the sarees, jewelry and dancing going on. But then you see the guys who don't look indian at all. Have no idea how this happened. They must love Indian movies.
@geekhater360 are you saying that brazil makes dramas in the portugese language consisting of only brazilian actors for the small indian demographic that live there? i dont think that's accurate.
@geekhater360 Those regions that have a higher population of indians have indian themes in their shows. It only makes sense to have that. BTW, Brazil is not the only country.
@orangeclover21: Um... that's not "taking a lot from India." That's a Brazilian TV show that is related to India. And no, the general Brazilian population does not love Indian movies. They were just being creative and wanted to do something different.
i cant believe JLo would do that to Bollywood but Sunny Deol must be happy about that.. at least someone beyond Punjab and Canada is watching his videos!

I could come up with this after some investigation on the internet.
(1) "Llorando se fue" by the Bolivian group Los Kjarkas in 1981 (original)
(2) "Chorando se foi" by Brazilian singer Márcia Ferreira in 1986 legally authorized)
(3) Lambada" by Kaoma in 1989 (plagiarized)
(4) "Sochna kya jo bhi hoga dekha jayega" in Ghayal in 1989 (plagiarized)
(5) "On the floor" by JLo in 2010 (legally authorized)

@star4galaxy The main tune of “On the Floor“-2011, “Sochna Kya“-1990 (Indian), “Lambada”-1989 (French Brazilian) and “Chorando se foi”-1986 (Portuguese) have, as known so far, basically copied from Bolivian original called “Lloranda se fue”(1981) by one of the Bolivia’s most famous band called “Los Kjarkas.”
MrSuave04 10 months ago
@star4galaxy Lambada copied it from 'Llorada se fue'
DaLastActionHero 9 months ago
@star4galaxy Actually, all of those songs copied from the song Llorando se fue, a Bolivian song, which was made in 1981. Lambada was made in 1989 and Sochna Kya the same year.

@star4galaxy this is a VERY old indian song so there is no way these ppl could hve copied this from lambada.

When i have heard JLO tune,I knew the original tune was from Ghayal.
after all Bollywood Rocks . And Sunny Paji -The great MuscleMan \m/
rockinjoe46 10 months ago
@rockinjoe46 you forget the fact, that ghayal copied Kaoma and JLO did a legit cover of Kaoma.... not the other way around.
Fr4nkWh1te 10 months ago
This not where J.Lo sampled her new hit single.......it was from "Lambada" which she acknowledged by including it in the title of her single "On the Floor (the Lambada Song)"......the Lambada was released around the time this movie was made so it is this movie that copied Lambada......this is not the original.....
andreiliver 10 months ago 14
@andreiliver but its funny how this indian person is trying to sue jello for stealing this song from him when he stole it as well haha
mrbelmont2000 9 months ago
@andreiliver What about Taboo by Don Omar? Sounds similar to me
ValkyrieRnGris 9 months ago
@andreiliver : lambada itself is not the original, its a copy of the 1981 song Llorando se fue by the bolivian band Los Kjarkas...Jlo acknowledged the copy! not the original!

These days Brazil is taking a LOT from India. Just check out their TV dramas. You could swear you're watching an Indian drama with all the sarees, jewelry and dancing going on. But then you see the guys who don't look indian at all. Have no idea how this happened. They must love Indian movies.
orangeclover21 10 months ago
@orangeclover21 Thats because there are indians who live there. Unless your talking about every single region.
geekhater360 10 months ago
@geekhater360 are you saying that brazil makes dramas in the portugese language consisting of only brazilian actors for the small indian demographic that live there? i dont think that's accurate.
orangeclover21 10 months ago
@geekhater360 Those regions that have a higher population of indians have indian themes in their shows. It only makes sense to have that. BTW, Brazil is not the only country.
geekhater360 10 months ago
@orangeclover21: Um... that's not "taking a lot from India." That's a Brazilian TV show that is related to India. And no, the general Brazilian population does not love Indian movies. They were just being creative and wanted to do something different.
VeronikaZee 10 months ago
i cant believe JLo would do that to Bollywood but Sunny Deol must be happy about that.. at least someone beyond Punjab and Canada is watching his videos!
ikadetikadechohikade 10 months ago
@ikadetikadechohikade: Jennifer didn't do anything to Bollywood. This song is a copy of Lambada and Jennifer Lopez's song samples that song too.
