wowee one is a good speaker, i simply love the bass part!

unfortunately the built quality is questionable. the constant vibrations might dislocate the bass driver sooner or later, making the bass part defective & left only the cheap tinny sounding speaker. mine broke after using it for more than 3 weeks!

but i still would get them anytime coz it was tried, tested & true...i'm yet to see any satisfying portable speaker with good amount of bass & loud enough sound on the market yet

Dam you're brave lols sticking it to the window and using it to hold your ipod XD One guy stuck the speaker to the window and it fell off after a while. I'd at least keep my hand under it just in case XP

Looks pretty impressive. I am looking for loud speakers to go with my portable projector, and they have to overcome the fan noise, these look like they will do the job.

Bought one, & it's really good. Only shitty thing is, that the Gel-part gets dusty very easily & if you clean it with a wet cloth, it's dusty after 2 minutes again :x

@rineficanefardonefo that's unfortunate. I guess it depends on the surroundings in terms of how dusty it gets. Try cleaning it and then just maybe drying it where you think it's least likely to get dusty or maybe even use a quick hair dryer. It sticks good if it's still slightly wet

@afhaaljap as it gets dusty it does not stick as well but it is easy to clean with a cloth and warm water - yep I know that sounds weird when talking about a sticky service but it works! :-)

@evgenysem I presume you mean the iHome 79, it is newer than the 78 and the sound is better than the 78. The iHome and the Wowee are both great products. The Wowee one at buyingcheap.co.uk/Wowee-Portab­le-Speaker is the cheapest option due to the free delivery which is not an option on Amazon for the iHome speakers but you will not be disappointed with the quality of any of them so I guess it's down to personal preference

@HOSTILAMUSIC it sticks well on windows but I wouldn't advise keeping it on a window for too long. I found it stuck really well for the first couple of months but then like anything else the stickiness gets a bit weaker as you keep taking it off and on.

@Alex2149 yes you can connect it to mobiles too as long as the mobile has a standard headphone port. You would plug it in where you would usually plug in headphones.

anyone experience rattling noises with the songs with heavier bass? My wowee actually vibrates and moves around when I play a lot of hip hop! I actually have to put a little pressure on it or it sounds horrible! Advice?

8wealthyone8 yeah the sound is great. I love the fact that it is so portable and easy to bring with you when you travel about. mickjoG were we watching the same video? The sound is far clearer on the wowee and the bass is far better. Yeah if you get the chance I'd definitely recommend checking it for real :-)

i somewhat prefer the sound off of the Dock..... wowee sounds a little bit over crispy from this footage. I really need to hear one for real though i think.
