As far as the dryer issue...make sure you have Enough air flow coming thru..meaning change your filters and make sure the belt on your fan is tight and doing the it's job. I recommend using the RUTLAND system if you are a first time user. Personally I use a hybrid of three different Discharge systems ..well...cuz each system has it's pros and cons. Always overcompensate on your Red and Yellow Pigments, never believe you will get a "true" white...and stay away from guarantees on color matching.
I am a printer in las Vegas ... Am trying to get into the discharge inks but my only issues are , the following ... The shirt when printed does not come out of the oven completely discharged and have to put the shirt through the oven twice .. I have a gas dryer have the belt at 15 and the oven at 400 what do you recommend? Next is the colors, what mixing system would you recommend
Haha, sooo intermediate...I forgot I made this video. My boss at the time was like " Oh yea, I got a film crew coming in in 20 min". I was...Oookk..threw something together as quickly as possible. If you have questions or want more info..just email me. I'll make discharge printing easy for ya. Just here to help... 24 years Exp... just waiting to share. :)
LMAO!!! i love how his favorite phrase is "as you can see"......
when in fact.... "as you can-not fucking see because i added text that completely blocks out every action i make"... would be more true to the video...
keep it out of the video and leave it in the comments or info section
@ArsonideX I will be doing another one soon from my Current job...and yes..I will be sure to not say "As you can See"...Sorry about that. That's what happens when you get free services....
Does anyone know where I can find someone or business that makes large sized silk screens? The sizes I'm looking for is anything from, 4ft X4ft to lets say 4ftx8ft. I'm not interested in Laser printing or T-shirt sized screens. If you could possible help with this, I would be very thankful.
Plastisol will be cheaper price-wise. IMHO, you can't put a price on the soft hand achieved by using waterbase inks and discharge for your darks on light. Truly a night and day difference.
see this is a professional operation from an expert who knows the industry and what he is talking about- the other expert video of the clown drug addict in the yellow shirt was how NOT to screen print.

Discharge Printing is useless unless your screens can hold up, I can print 24 or 2000 using my method of Screenmaking for Discharge.
