I was at a friend's birthday party a while back and everyone thought it was awesome and kept having me do it all day. Well, we were on their deck that night and her brother wanted me to do it in the dark. Went inside and had nicked my fingers a few times and my hand was all bloody :P
Nope. It's actual speed. Youtube messed the sound up a lil when I uploaded it. (I was surprised. That was the first time I'd ever done it with a sharp knife and it was also the fastest I've done it...even now it's not as fast)
