I just bought this game yesterday, I can't wait to play it today. I'm a command & conquer fan, I get tired of the first person shooting games sometimes, so I like to switch to a good strategy game like this one sometimes. I like how you can command your troops and lead them into battle, that's something you can't do with a lot of other shooting games.

RTS really do belong on PC, but exceptions can be made. this looks really good. its just even on easy, this game and this mission is really really hard. the game locks up and can't let me play and beats me. the computer CHEATS lol
hmmm i don't know about this game..iloved the command and conquer games on the pc, but this port has some issues. the controls are kinda awkward when building crap and the text is so small because its menat to be played up close. and these games don't fuck around, you gotta build and attack fast or your ass is grass
@livera1 sometimes i get an error message, it says "Fatal Error A abort" then when i hit A it freezes. only does it sometimes and only on this game. you ever had a problem with that or even heard of it?. i did however get the brutal difficulty achievement, and against all odds where you have to beat 3 comp opponents who are allied. the 5 min or less achievement was one of the easiest.
@Alexandros1294 It looks nice, but it runs horribly. More than like, 10 units at once and you've got yourself around 15 FPS. I had it on xbox, then bought it for my PC and I'll never play the xbox version again.

That out of the way, we're all right, as long as you can respect and understand that awesome-ness that is the PS3 Xbox 360. Game consoles are superior to PC's in that their longevity is much greater with superior support, are more efficient, one of the best platforms to game on (360), and the best features.
Consoles are superior on many ways; the life of the console and the quality of the of software and games supported is way longer - and greater - than that of a PC. You're getting MUCH more processing power for the dollar when you buy a 360 or PS3, and a much more reliable system for gaming, which better features such as integrated, mainstream HD movie streaming, music, photo, and video storage, TOP-NOTCH quality games, integrated chat and communication service, integrated controller, + more.
Microsoft supports PCs PLENTY! It's the fact that consoles are more optimized for gaming, are way more powerful for the dollar (it would costs at least $500 - probably more - to buy a processor as powerful as the 360's or PS3's), have superior reliable support, have longer, more useful and useable life-span and hardware/software support, as well as console-only games that beat many games on PC, and rival others. I have a Mac, and for gaming, I go console. The Mac is superior to PC -gaming.

There are some I play on the Mac, such as Urban Terror (INCREDIBLE open source game), but that's about it. Given the console is the most superior route to go in terms of features and games, that's where nearly all of my gaming time is spent.
There are other games...better in my opinion....Aero fighter 1,2,3...aliens vs predator...final fighters..etc.all fucking good games...better than these shitty new ones(cuz back then game developers were concentrating on a thing called gameplay...nowadays they throw games such as Halo3....Crysis...and so on...that mostly concentrate on graphics...or games that try to be original...nobody wants an original game anymore...all we(the gamers) want is a FUN GAME! :(

The reason I have only one friend on Youtube is because I have REAL, CLOSE, and INTELLIGENT friends in REAL life that I love and treasure dearly. Can you possibly relate? It's great that you're talking to people, but it means NOTHING if you're friend count is higher than mine, WHAT SO EVER! PCs have their upsides, but so do consoles.
Google search "XFPS Sniper 3.0 Plus" and click on the extreme-mods URL, and you will find a product that allows you to use a mouse and a keyboard for the Xbox 360 (there's also a PS3 version) with GREAT precision, very similar to that of a PC, though given this product processes corresponding input form the mouse to the joystick information the controller sends, it's not A++ accurate, but, again, quite close.
All that aside, I am a strong believer in the all mighty controller as well. There are MANY strong points to using a controller, such as being able to sit back and relax, have certain button configurations and layouts that are more efficient to use and execute then you would arguably be able even match on a keyboard, vibration (it can be very immersive), up on other factors. If one person likes the controller better, don't be a hypocrite and say their inferior - EVER - because of their choice.
Pc's aren't what they used to be....they became too intelligent(the piracy...and other stuff...actually you can do almost anything with a computer..even hack your neighbour that play WOW 24/7 )

Well I think that the Xbox version is better than the PC, not in gameplay of course but it has good graphics in the xbox 360, and the gameplay its not to hard to play it, I found it quite easy.
Okay, I love RTS games and used to be a PC gamer. For a while now, I've been on Xbox 360 and love it but want some good RTS gaming back. My laptop probably won't be up to par to play this, so I wouldn't mind getting it on 360.
However, the way to play RTS games is with a mouse and keyboard; the mouse is flawless when moving around...but joysticks? I don't know...
How does it do with the controls on a controller? Is it hard to select individual units?
its actually pretty good asigning groups can be a litle difficult and filtering your selection between different units iss almost impossible but the rest plays with no problems
Yeah, I actually went on and bought this game for $11.99 New at Gamestop and have loved it. There's a small learning curve, and selecting certain units and putting them in one group can take a bit of time but it works. The game looks good and runs well in my opinion. I'm enjoying it!
Mouse and keyboard is, for the PC user, always the most easily approached controls. Though I didn't give the X360 version of this game a fair tryout the controls got solid rather quickly and is considering getting the expansion for the X360 if it will retail for consoles to get the solid Multiplayer features the PC version does not have.
I find That Playing The Game On the X-Box 360 will have better graphics, and also let you actually play the game if you have a slow, or incompatitle PC, If not, and you have a pretty fast and decent PC, it will be better to buy the game on the PC, as you get more units, faster speeds, better graphics and you can face up to 8 Players instead of 4.

Game consoles are superior to PC's in that their longevity is much greater with superior support, are more efficient, one of the best platforms to game on (360), and the best features.

Consoles are superior on many ways; the life of the console and the quality of the of software and games supported is way longer - and greater - than that of a PC. You're getting MUCH more processing power for the dollar when you buy a 360 or PS3, and a much more reliable system for gaming, which better features such as integrated, mainstream HD movie streaming, music, photo, and video storage, TOP-NOTCH quality games, integrated chat and communication service, integrated controller, + more.

Microsoft supports PCs PLENTY! It's the fact that consoles are more optimized for gaming, are way more powerful for the dollar (it would costs at least $500 - probably more - to buy a processor as powerful as the 360's or PS3's), have superior reliable support, have longer, more useful and useable life-span and hardware/software support, as well as console-only games that beat many games on PC, and rival others. I have a Mac, and for gaming, I go console. The Mac is superior to PC -gaming.

There are some I play on the Mac, such as Urban Terror (INCREDIBLE open source game), but that's about it. Given the console is the most superior route to go in terms of features and games, that's where nearly all of my gaming time is spent.

There are other games...better in my opinion....Aero fighter 1,2,3...aliens vs predator...final fighters..etc.all fucking good games...better than these shitty new ones(cuz back then game developers were concentrating on a thing called gameplay...nowadays they throw games such as Halo3....Crysis...and so on...that mostly concentrate on graphics...or games that try to be original...nobody wants an original game anymore...all we(the gamers) want is a FUN GAME! :(

Games such as BioShock, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1 & 2, Halo 1,2, and 3 (barely), are some of the best games ever created, ESPECIALLY BioShock and the Half-Life series - those games are EASILY two of the BEST, most BEAUTIFUL and PASSIONATE works of ART EVER created, in the HISTORY of video games! The Resistance series - only on the PS3 - is OUTSTANDING as well. The Gears of War series is also PHENOMENAL. There are many fantastic games coming out that are true works of art.

Google search "XFPS Sniper 3.0 Plus" and click on the extreme-mods URL, and you will find a product that allows you to use a mouse and a keyboard for the Xbox 360 (there's also a PS3 version) with GREAT precision, very similar to that of a PC, though given this product processes corresponding input form the mouse to the joystick information the controller sends, it's not A++ accurate, but, again, quite close.

All that aside, I am a strong believer in the all mighty controller as well. There are MANY strong points to using a controller, such as being able to sit back and relax, have certain button configurations and layouts that are more efficient to use and execute then you would arguably be able even match on a keyboard, vibration (it can be very immersive), up on other factors. If one person likes the controller better, don't be a hypocrite and say their inferior - EVER - because of their choice.

I know an EXCEEDINGLY great amount about computers, from what's possible and many characteristics of software and how to change it's behavior, to the hardware and factors that go into the construction of a computer, including a VAST amount of technical knowledge about computers - but there's still an IMMENSE amount of information I either have yet to learn, or don't know and never will - though I do plan to further educate myself about computers. You CAN plug in a M&K to a console.

Okay, I love RTS games and used to be a PC gamer. For a while now, I've been on Xbox 360 and love it but want some good RTS gaming back. My laptop probably won't be up to par to play this, so I wouldn't mind getting it on 360.
However, the way to play RTS games is with a mouse and keyboard; the mouse is flawless when moving around...but joysticks? I don't know...
How does it do with the controls on a controller? Is it hard to select individual units?

its actually pretty good asigning groups can be a litle difficult and filtering your selection between different units iss almost impossible but the rest plays with no problems

Yeah, I actually went on and bought this game for $11.99 New at Gamestop and have loved it. There's a small learning curve, and selecting certain units and putting them in one group can take a bit of time but it works. The game looks good and runs well in my opinion. I'm enjoying it!

Mouse and keyboard is, for the PC user, always the most easily approached controls. Though I didn't give the X360 version of this game a fair tryout the controls got solid rather quickly and is considering getting the expansion for the X360 if it will retail for consoles to get the solid Multiplayer features the PC version does not have.

I find That Playing The Game On the X-Box 360 will have better graphics, and also let you actually play the game if you have a slow, or incompatitle PC, If not, and you have a pretty fast and decent PC, it will be better to buy the game on the PC, as you get more units, faster speeds, better graphics and you can face up to 8 Players instead of 4.
