My dad's mother passed away when he was only 6 years old because of an open heart surgery. They said if she didn't get the surgery, she wouldn't live for too long, and little did they know she would die on the operating table..my dad had me, his daughter at 17 with my mom, high school sweethearts. I just turned 20..this song hits home for my dad, they say I look just like my grandmother, rest in peace Martha Gomez, I wish you could see what an amazing father your son, has become.
