I've been a GD fan for 17 years, and play the guitar. "Insane" isn't the word for this solo... more like "crappy". Listen to interviews, even Billie Joe admits he's no guitar god. Love Green Day, he's a phenominal lyricist and has a great mind for hook and melody. But c'mon, his guitar playing skills are far from amazing.... hence Jason White playing lead guitar when GD tours.
