because i have a freeflow coustom exhaust by greddy its not loud and disruptive, or ricey fart can, its pure performance, and i doubt ur na mazda has over 250lbs of torque, bc my civic is not an average turbo, its kicking out 483hp and 287lbs or torque, 0-60mph in 4.7 secs, and a best of 11.4 in the 1/4 mile i only use it at the track now, i drive my expediton as a daily driver
okay, so I have a 2008 Mazda 6 hatchback with the 4 banger in it. Im trying to decide on a exhaust kit, I want loud but not crazy loud. Obviously you know what your doing so what did you have done to yours. Im thinking if I got the same thing done it would not be as loud due to the engine difference. Currently im looking at a magnaflow exhaust
im not the guy you were talking to but don't buy magnaflow exhaust becuase they sound ricer on a 4 banger. An OBX (on ebay), HKS, or Borla mufflers sound good on a 4 cylinder but they will never allow you to sound like a mucle car like that guy.
i got the same engine with my magnaflow and i love it. check out my video. it's not super loud but its nice and low. and cruising at 65 i cant even hear it. i have an intake though too.

i got a 06 mazda6 2.3 with intake and i want alot of power to turn heads and kill the comp...ppl say it can only hold up to 300hp or less....i want my 6 to sound like yours how can that happen

thanks man, up to this day my car is all motor, but in the next couple of weeks, i will be twin turbo on my 3.0L V6, so stay tuned for vids popping up over the next month or so

i hit a pot hole in my 01 mazda 626 a while ago, and it broke off the exhaust right before the catalitic converter, and they sound the same, like SHIT!

Damn, sucks what happened to your 626. I always hate to see another mazda get damaged. But I do have one thing on my mind. How do you have the audacity to say my car sounds like shit when you drive a civic? Especially since the civic..every generation is known for and iconolized by having the shittiest sounding, Let alone the fact that an average turbo civic still has less torque than my naturally aspirated V6.

because i have a freeflow coustom exhaust by greddy its not loud and disruptive, or ricey fart can, its pure performance, and i doubt ur na mazda has over 250lbs of torque, bc my civic is not an average turbo, its kicking out 483hp and 287lbs or torque, 0-60mph in 4.7 secs, and a best of 11.4 in the 1/4 mile i only use it at the track now, i drive my expediton as a daily driver

okay, so I have a 2008 Mazda 6 hatchback with the 4 banger in it. Im trying to decide on a exhaust kit, I want loud but not crazy loud. Obviously you know what your doing so what did you have done to yours. Im thinking if I got the same thing done it would not be as loud due to the engine difference. Currently im looking at a magnaflow exhaust

im not the guy you were talking to but don't buy magnaflow exhaust becuase they sound ricer on a 4 banger. An OBX (on ebay), HKS, or Borla mufflers sound good on a 4 cylinder but they will never allow you to sound like a mucle car like that guy.

i got the same engine with my magnaflow and i love it. check out my video. it's not super loud but its nice and low. and cruising at 65 i cant even hear it. i have an intake though too.

Try looking into Racing beat catback. IIRC they make something for the 6.
Or you can go with the Tanabe axle backs. They fit the 4 or the 6 cylinder and is a nice sound channge. Shouldn't be ricey at all
