I must be the only person in the world who was not disturbed by the Sea Ponies or their song. I actually thought the song was pretty catchy, in fact!
Also, you probably know this, but Rainbow Dash was inspired by Firefly. :B
All and all, good review of a so-so animated special.

Another fantastic review. Extra props for the Eva Score being used for the Sea Ponies... those things could qualify as Angelic horrors but even Anno wasn't high enough to come up with that...
Anyway, great work, I laughed so hard I snorted vodka out my nose in a couple of parts. Keep up the good work!

To recover from the questionable musical numbers in this special, the seapony eurobeat remix will balance against those terrible songs. That is unless you can't get the seapony designs off your mind (which for some reason seapony Lyra is more appealing then those abominations). Of course this special's song isn't going to stay off my head so easily now because of that guy with the Klonoa avatar...
