Great video...the Villian sawing wood on the Log Ride constantly laughing, the Mexican train ("lalalalalala..Fiesta..."),The Caddo Canoes, the Raft to Skull Island, Big Bend-smoothest coaster they ever had...why'd they get rid of it? Thanks for posting
Im am security at six flags and wow it looks like it used to be alot of fun and really clean, wish they could clean up the place a little, and repaint everything that would help out alot,... get film tho
i went there yesterday, yes its expensive and it has changes alot but the evidence of the old six flags is still there such as the train, the antique cars, the log ride and of corse the pink thing!!! the mine train is exactly the same too. its still how i remember it as long as they dont change what i call the basics.
There was so much there that is gone now. Thanks for the video. It looks like there was not a crossing gate on the railroad tracks or a cage on top of the tower. People must of been smarter back then.
The park seemed so much funner then, but maybe it does to all 5 year olds, no, it really was a better park back then (Before the Bunny). Your right, there was no cage on the tower, walking underneath was not the safest place in the park. There were a whole bunch of pennies and spit dropped over the edge back then.
thanks... enjoyed seeing the big bend... still one of my favorite roller coasters. wish they would have kept it. was cool to see the canoe ride again.
Great film! I wish Six Flags was still as fun as it was back then...before Buggs Bunny invaded. Now it is just a place to get into your pocket at every turn...I'm sure it was then, but I was too little to know the difference. Thanks for the memories.
