no it not,ltr 500 aka quadzilla is the fastest stock. the 525 is only faster cause it dosnt have a speed limmiter, and it takes like a mile to pass the xx. the drag was a 1000ft drag not no 200ft ohh in the mags it had a top of 73 in 300ft while the xx hade a top of 75. the 525 is the fastest 0-50 stock quad or 200ft drag.

drag but i was in front of them on the trail ride to the feilds. the xx dose sway a bit but it handels a lot better at high speeds and u gota love the toque on that thing. but 525 is nice for a polaris. but the qualty just isnt ther. that y i got the xx. irs is the best. ppl say the xx it sucks but that y its won the baja 500 and 1000.

yeah but u find me a stock quad in the daja and ill give u 5 bucks and all it had to the engine was a alba stage 2, alba pipe for the 1000, hmf ballence pipe for the 500, uni air filter andb pcv with auto tune. just remembe it beat 450 dirt bikes and the custon trx cr650. and what like about honda u ride it till it blows up then u ride it some more.

The only place the 700xx outshines the 525irs is in topspeed. Everywhere else it gets stomped out. Its that simple. People that trade it in for the honda just want something with a bigger motor because the THINK its faster

not realy the outlaw dose have a better stock sway bar and better stock tires..... but the xx is way smother, more power (torque and hp), better reliability, less maintnise, more engine capabilates with mods, all the xx need is big 3 and you got 10 more hp......oohhhh my ferind traded his outlaw after he bent his rear a arms 3 times..... he got big 3 and he said its faster with big3 than the outlaw is with big 3.... idk i haden rode his xx yet

The outlaw handles much better than the xx, its just too squishy and rolls way to much, which is why its smoother. Better reliability? Its honda, that means good reliability, but the motor in the outlaw is KTM which is bulletproof. The only reason the motor would be more capable in the way of mods is because its a bigger displacement. Race them stock and the outlaw dogs it everywhere you go, the rougher the bigger the gap. I've watched with my own eyes an pipped outlaw take out a big gun xx.

well it depend in some stuff like ruted feilds the xx is beter and the xx is harder 2 get stuck in snow. the 700xx engine is based of the xr650 that was bulit proof. what i mean by more capble is thats the ktm come stock with better cam better ports its ment to have more power stock so thats y ktm is none as a true race ready atv.. ive seen my xx take out a hmf outlaw on a 400ft race but outlaws are fast outa the hole. big gun only has a slipon for the xx thats only 1/5 of the power

Where did I ever say the XX was unriable, where did I ever say it was slow. I said it was great on open trails.. the Baja must not be open huh. I said the outlaw doesn't fall apart, and the ktm motor is bullet proof. If you see my upping the outlaw to the XX's standards as being anti XX then so be it. As far as videos and proof? I don't have anything to prove to people youtube lol.

i just got 1 of these today and there really nice the transmission is really wierd how took me like a good 30 mins to figure out how to put it in nutral i think this is the fastest probly out there and the irs is amazing

@xxshadow529 that's like a motorcycle. it's easier to shift into 1st then 1/2 shift up. that's the best way to build a manual tranny, with neutral between 1st and 2nd gear.

Understand that even a raptor 660 has a hard time keeping up with the 525 irs - cause i have the 07 outlaw irs 525 / and my boys gotta 660 raptor 07 and he cant touch my stock irs..

if u want pro-tuned suspension and tire comprresion follow these instructions...

FRONT SUSPENSION.. Thread preload down three threads from stock.

REAR SUSPENSION.. Stock preload two clicks on compression.

TIRE COMPRRESIONS.. For dunes:5 PSI all 4 tires For Dirt: 5.5 PSI all around (all 4 tires)

All depends on what type of trails your going to be riding. Rutted out trail, hell yea the IRS will dominate, but on fast fire road trails it gets left in corners.

the outlaw is not a race bike. it's a high performance trail bike. if your looking to race go with a yamaha raptor, but if you wanna have fun in the woods, this is the bike.

your right the outlaw 525 is the fastest stock quad out there my friend has one and it blows away my trx400x and my other friends crf150r (not my crf450r though:p )it beats any quad stock after that im not sure but for raptor fans the fastest speed on a quad ever is 249.51 km/h (155.04 mph) achieved by Terry Wilmeth (USA) onboard the AlbaAction/Fullbore/Powroll Rocket Raptor version 5.0 at the Madras Airport, Madras, Oregon, USA on 16 June 2007.

I ride a yfz 450 and with a few bolt ons I have it up to 50.2 hp according to a dyno. What does that mean? The yamaha has the most power mod for mod of any 450 out. I've smoked everything even the new KTM's on it.

All of the manufactures make great bikes, its all about what you want. But as for the fastest, I'm sorry to say the 450r has the top speed by about 2mph, while the LTR has the best handling, and the KFX and the YFZ were the most trail friendly. And no the YFZ is not best mod for mod, KTM's 450 is the best motor of them all right now.
