@fl00ders As you are well aware, joey from Slipknot has been declared the best drummer in the last 25 years... which is a load of crap and this time its coming from a Slipknot fan and as for influences, well its goes without saying that every musician has an influence of a sort but that doesn't mean they will forever be in their shadow.

i rate this drummer highly due to reasons that cannot put into words coz i can't explain it but everyone gets drawn to certain individuals in terms of ability.

Wow, awesome. You don't have to be a drummer to appreciate this man's work. Unlike Lars Ulrich, Iggor used all the pieces of his set with maximum fervor and created a brutally unique style all his own. Perhaps aspiring drummers were inspired by Lars to pick up some sticks, but exposure to real percussionists can foster a desire to go beyond simple and generic beats. Substance is worth so much more than image.

By the way I am a big Megadeth fan and Slayer and Anthrax are awesome but Sepultura smashes them. Metallica is already paying for their blasphemy by losing the ability to write a single good song after the black album.
