Nice! You have been studying Sonny Terry well...I love the emulation from the harp sounds to the whoopin' you have a class act, my friend. This Rocks! 5/5
thanks quinoacat, are you shore you ment this comment for me or for the video respons to this vid that i just sent you, cheers my frand, iether way, nice to hear from you again.
well thanks jcwfnn2b,i realy apprisiat your comment, but its not unique, its a sonny terry thing, and he got it of some of the early players, peace and love.
thanks quinoacat, nice to hear from anyone who realy appresiates sonny terry,i think he was just about the best, although there are many many great harp players out there, cheers, love and peace tony
You rock. I have the Complete Sonny Terry works and his sounds have been coming out of my harps too now since I started listening to him. There is a definite Mojo in Sonny Terry style that when experimented with can teach some finer points of mixing cupping technique, bends, and embrochure together to make unique sounds most people are amazed come out of such a small seemingly simple instrument. 5/5 Stars!
Sonny Terry had a large tongue. Nice thing about a large coordinated tongue is it comes in handy on the harp for the handful to techniques that involve creative use of the tongue on harmonica. Many women like it too, lol. I feel like my tongue gets stronger and more flexible when I harp long and hard on a regular basis.
hi neuropanico,i learned by listening to sonnys records, over and over again.then i would try playing, very slow, then when i got a part of it i would speed it up,thanks for the coment, good lucke with your playing
