ok, there is a tunnel made up of square mirrors going from the back of the box to that pattern in the back. because of the pattern, the mirrors can easily blend with it. all the dancers are hiding behind the pattern, they just crawl through the tunnel into the box.

beneath the box there are two mirrors that obscure to mimic the patterned background so that you don't see when they come out from below then go to the back of the box where there is an opening and out on either side.

As others have said, it's so bloomin' obvious - even without glimpses of the mirror tunnel, the fact we're never shown the space between the back of the box and the backdrop is a pretty good indication of where Diversity are coming from.

They could at least have spun the box or walked all around it beforehand, then extended the tunnel when our attention was elsewhere.
