  • the smaller the pipe the louder and higher pitch it will b the bigger the pipe the deeper quieter it will b. trust me i have true dual 2 1/4 no cat no muffler n its the loudest thing ive ever heard. i have no back pressure but if u want loud ur pipes need to b small

  • when you learn how to spell loud we will tell you.

  • Well, if you're still looking for opinions on the sound of your exhaust, you made a good choice with the original 40 series. I've always been a fan of that muffler. Theres nothing like the sound of the aggressive metallic, chambered exhaust note that is unique to Flowmaster. I think the only sound better than that, is the Delta Force 40 series. Its simply an even more aggressive, badass sounding version of the original. Nevermind the 10 series, they lack the full chambered exhaust note that...

  • @madtownmadman ...is characteristic of Flowmaster. But they do sound good, none the less. Look up the Delta Force mufflers.

  • rele falconlacrosse? 3 years and ur backing the newer GAYER dodges?

  • lol a ford.. wow ur fucked get a chevy!

  • the pull hitch i maxes out the tow package chevy and dodge all the way

  • what's with the toilet seat hanging off the back of the truck

  • just run larger diameter pipe from after the mufflers out. that will five you much better sound

  • Big fuck no on the 10 series unless u want it to sound like total ass. Had them on a built 355 and they sound good at idle and wide open but thats about it, they prob sound alot better with extreamly high compression race engines

  • hey man how much louder can it get no cats headers flowmaster!? and by the way 40 series isn't as second to 10 series the super 40s is next step but im not all about noise i like the low tone of magnaflow tried flowmaster but hate the super loud interior noise of it but to each his own and lol did i hear someone say to get a fucking dodge? lmao they just had ANOTHER recall on there trucks for a antifreeze leak that could cause engine explosion... lol hemispheric combustion alright....

  • chevy snatcher

  • if u want to go loud as hell get some dynomax race bullets, small and basically straight through. i had the on my chevy with duel 21/2 madrel bent exhaust and hooker headers and it sounded like a race truck! and ther cheaper than flowmasters of peice of shit glasspacks.

  • nice truck man i love the shackle on the back

  • If you're looking for loud, I'd go with some cherry bomb glasspacks.

  • @skater7b yea i agree. hey diff question. i got a 350 with headdrs no cats. and it is a true dual. how loud would it be with glass packs. im looking for a crackle. any help?

  • for all the Dodge haters...Dodges DON'T SUCK....jealousy does suck I guess....

  • snatch them chevys!

  • flowmaster super 44's or single chambers should do the trick

  • holy shit thats the biggest D-ring i've ever seen. haha

  • They will be louder but have a way different exhaust sound to them they will be more poppy and not have that tinny sound that i love for flowmaster

  • delta 88's sound bad ass

  • @truckguy454ss

are you retarded? its delta 44's, delta 88 is some gay midsized car.

  • @LowRida5 i know what thay are you dumb fuck

  • @truckguy454ss Obviously you don't.

  • what motor?

  • don't go with the 10 series man....go with hte super 44's also from flowmaster! they a decent muffler

  • If u want it loud, but also sounding good get true duals no cats and 18 inch glasspacks. With no smaller than 4 inch tips. It sounds like flowmaster up until around 2500 rpm then it gets real loud. If u need to ask any more questions jus ask me.

  • nice NITTOS

  • alraedy true duals and no cats. with ford racing headers and flowmaster 40s

  • check into glasspack mufflers

  • Super 44s... Those are loud as fuck.

  • @boggin69 hey man go with 3 inch pipes al the way back with some flowmaster 10s or super 44s or if to expensive cherry bomb extrme kinda sound like a flowmaster 10 $100 for flowmaster or $60 for cherry bomb extrme

  • @boggin69 , try straight pipes , if your not worried about cops , or make custom mufflers( with nothing in them)

  • @boggin69 sounds like its got all the components to be pretty loud, only thing I can think of that could make it louder would be glasspacks or just straight pipe.

  • you could also try a cherry bomb glasspack, if you dont have cats, it'll be plenty loud.

  • check into a flowmaster 40 series. it was me i wouldn't change a thing. sounds perfect the way it is.

  • that is 40 series read the titel

  • Comment removed

  • thats a badass truck

  • hhahahaha chevy snatcher

  • nitto mud grapplers

  • wht kind of tires r those?

  • To make it louder, you should put headers, remove the cats, but keep the 40 series. They have an excellent sound without cats, Thats wat I had on my chevy 350 (A real motor with a Bowtie) (naw just playin ford's ok. Not as good a chevy not as bad as dodge) I would do that before you threw away the 40 series, they are great mufflers if the rest of the exhaust is set up right.

  • damn sweet truck man. fuck u faggot dodge guys, go rebuild ur tranny!

to be lower id put some 12" cherrybomb glasspacks on. itd have a deep rich tone

  • Well the 1st thing u do is drop that oval emblem on the front and swap it wath a Bowtie, lol Jk, truck sounds pretty good thatts the sound im goin for...

  • hey man, heres what you gotta do to make it loud. obviously like everyone else has said, you can straight pipe it (no cat, no muffler) but that is illegal in some states. so if it is, like in my state, get rid of those 40s and get a highflow cat and headers. headers will make a hella good difference. but if you absolutely want a muffler for tone, get a single chamber (cherrybomb extreme or 10 series flowmaster) but just remember that any muffler will restrict sound therefore make it quieter.

  • You want it loud??? Okay, get ready.... cut the tailpipes and put turndowns.....

  • well, first you need to drop that piece of shit ford and get a dodge then put flowmaster 10 series on it.

  • O YA i want a P.O.S dodge so the tranny goes out. o that fixes everying. dodges suck just as much dick as arctic cats

  • 208000 miles in my dakota 5spd tranny doesnt even feel bad she's prolly got another 100,000; btw who wants a 5.slow anways; only ford worth buying is a diesel and even then a cummins is better

  • @boggin69 hey dodge sucks but dont bring in arctic cat there good lol

  • @boggin69 do be raggin on artic cats

  • @boggin69 first of all, That was WAY back in the early 90s that they had a bad Trans prob! And if you did your homework like they "tried" to teach ya in school you would know that it was corrected that year and the bad ones were replaced for "FREE"

  • @boggin69 too bad my ol dodge have pulled out a lot of fords and have outran more fords, brand new and old more than anything else...did i mention 2wd only and ive been through trails lifted 4wd fords get stuck on?

  • @boggin69 great comment lol

  • @boggin69 They fixed the trannys now dumbass they fucked up when they put the bigger motor but didnt upgrade the tranny

  • hahaha lol

  • @arcticcat4ever you need to get some knowledge of which truck is the better one

  • Oh its a ford let em change the video,

  • what u trying 2 say

  • i had 2 2.5'' in/out flowmaster 10 delta force 1 chambers on my 86 3/4 ton, hooker super comps, 2.5 all the way back..sounded kick ass, had the typical flowmaster tone, but much much louder than a 40 series.

  • my friend has 10 's on his silverado with 2 1/2" true duals with no cats and i can hear him from upto 1 mile away for tips run big wazoo 4 inch x 24 inches long it is loud as hell i will try to get you a video!

  • flowmaster 10's are small ass mufflers but punch more sound prob because its a 3 inch in and out 1 chamber.

I have 1 flowmaster 10 on my thunderbird and just strait pipes in the back with chrome tips sounds almost like a mustang really deep tone.

  • get straights with no mufflers and no cats. 2" piping with pinched tips 90 degrees out the side.

  • STP

Good for door hinges etc ;)

    Alvin in AZ (360FE+T18)

  • 10 series are bad ass

  • cut off the cats and muffler..then it will be loud

  • did that to my 2005 hemi sounds bad azz

  • Sounds alright, but get a chevy

  • I love how you Ford and Chevy guys argue while both companies go down the drain. Why not stop hatin' on domestic cars? They are all good.

  • @Rebnx thatd be worse

  • Oh and Flowmaster 10's are definetly loudest but you more importantly you need 3 inch piping for the whole exhaust system. so from the manifolds back you need 3 inch piping and make sure it is true dual muffler setup to. the mufflers also have to be 3 inch inlet and 3 inch outlet. Trust me man do all that and you will have the loudest truck in town

  • hey man idk what you have done in the past few months to your truck put these kids dont know what they are talking about. having straight pipes will make the engine run like shit because it has no back pressure you need mufflers for back pressure. also cutting the cats off (illegal but who cares) will cause the Check Engine light to go on. depends on your engine setup but i have seen people cut the cats off and there motors ran like shit.

  • If you want LOUD just run cherry bombs or 1 chamber mufflers. If you want it to sound GOOD, stay 2 chamber.

  • 10's sound pretty good on carbed or built engines. 2 chambers sound better on stock efi engines though. I'd still rather hear a 10 any day on any engine rather than a 2 chamber. 2 chambers are so over-played and all those walls don't exactly make them flow all that well.

  • no doubt man cut those pussy ass 40's off man, put some 10 Series and that Ford will scream at people and still sound good. It sounds good now but i just dont like those 2 baffle chambers. I got a pair of 10 series on the way right now and when i get them ill be posting a video on my account so check up on me late next week and i should have somethin for ya. If ya wanna know what straight pipes sound like ill make a video before i put the 10 series on. there pretty meaty but they pop too much

  • My brother has a 1995 F-350 with the 460. He ran a 2.5" true dual with Flowmaster Super 44s, and the two mufflers combined really sapped the sound. You have to have smaller mufflers on a true dual, otherwise it defeats the purpose. Right now he has headers, cats, and dynomax bullets, with a cam, and it's VERY LOUD! But, we want the flowmaster sound,he may go with the 10 series, or the cherry bomb extremes. We also will remove the cats. Check his truck out under "FordF350Baby",its a tite truck

  • I love 10's and extremes. Tiny little race mufflers kick ass. I'd like to see which one flows better. I think that the 10's sound slightly better (can somewhat hear the trademark flowmaster sound) whereas the extremes sound more like straight pipes. Extremes are only about half the price of the 10's though. Not to mention that pimp go fast cherrybomb red color lol.

  • Well he now runs cherry bomb extremes with gutted cats. Sounds awesome. Go check his videos out now

  • ive got a cherry bomb extreme on my silverado..it sounds sick

  • headers might make it a little louder but if you want it really loud straight pipes are the way to go. Mufflers just ruin exhaust setups they quiet things down to much.

  • i dont have any cats right now and planing on headders

  • If your wanting something loud loose the mufflers and cats and run 2 1/2" true dual straight pipes off the factory manifolds with 4"x24" tips
