When I rewatch my own gameplay I always seem to remember what I was thinking when I was playing it even if it was months ago, I feel like that's kind of a normal thing. Watching it again you're getting the same visual/audio stimulation as when you were playing it and it seems like that makes it really easy to remember what was going on and what you were thinking at the time. <_<
