i was just gona say who would be stupid enough to put a sub in an mr2 bcoz i was thinkin that you wud put them in the boot lol but i see you got a quite a good setup
I just bought two alpine sws 1023d subs in an enclosed Absolute MDHF10 Dual 10" sealed enclosure. I also bought an Alpine CDE-125BT with Bluetooth and Ipod connectivity. Do you think my car will sound ok. I need to know what kind of amp to get next so I can have it put in . Im kind of new too this so I figured asking you since you probably know alot more about this stuff then I do .
not hating,,, just correcting,,, your set up is stupid and gay.
wtf would you put em on right behind you ,,, idiots these days.
why cant ppl learn that if you dont have room,, dont put any kind of system in your car. and especially some cheap ass alpine 10s. if your gonna do some 10s wid that little room do some DigitalDesings or something thats gonna perform well in your weak conditions.
I wanted to cut out the storage compartment and build fiberglass boxes for 2- 8" subs. Keeping the seat fully adjustable (which is good if your over 6'2") and give the subs more room in front of them.
Also, in a 2 seat car the mids and highs should only be installed in front of the passengers. Read Ken Blake's soundkwest MR2 write up.
Hope this doesn't sound too critical because I'm sure it sounds good; I just have a passion for car audio and love the MR2.
That seems like a good setup. I did have just the component set in the front and I did not like how it sounded, I fit much bigger speakers in the back and it gives it much more of a full sound.
If I remember, they are around 5 or 6" thick.
