  • i HATE IE... enough said...

  • STUPID IE 6 God too many mistakes

  • I like the last one :D everybody likes to be "back in time"

  • i like ie 6 even though its a malware attracting browser

  • @XPdude01 IKR

  • 1999 rules!!

  • IE6 forever!

  • "It'l keep your developers employed for twice as long!"

True that ahahaha!!! No, but really, I'd rather just be able to finish my website normally instead of wasting twice as long making it work in IE :(

  • @AustinKay that's dumb. You obviously don't want to take the time to make sure that your code is good and that it'll work everywhere. You are like Windows Vista-- too much unneccessary code and increasing the minimum requirements like all hell with no true purpose.

Don't bring UP minimum requirements. IE6 and older computers are fully capable of modern things, the developers just don't take the time to streamline their stuff and make it run fast for EVERYONE.

  • @sonic3243 You must not understand how easy it is to code for firefox, and how much more difficult it is to code for IE

  • @AustinKay it's worth it. You'll always have the same stuff, one way or another.

What could be done before can be done again. Old browsers are fully capable of modern things but the shitty-ass developers don't go the extra mile for everyone else.

  • @sonic3243 It doesn't have anything to do with older browsers, the new IE is just as bad. We aren't shitty developers because we hate doing twice as much work for something that shouldn't require it. We still do it, but obviously we don't like it, do you even know anything about what you're talking about? If you did, you probably wouldn't be supporting such a god awful browser. Congrats on being in the vast minority of people who ride Internet Explorer's dick

  • *Commenting on IE6*

    IE6 = Nostalgia

  • @duranmedine IE6 is supported by Microsoft until April 2014!

  • you can use it to install google chrome

  • lol it makes you feel like its 1999

  • this is ironic? right?

  • Comment removed

  • IE6 wasn't originally on Windows 2000, IE5 was. IE6 was the last IE for Windows 98, Me, and 2000.

IE8 was the last IE for XP.

IE5.5 was the last IE for 95.

IE5 was the last IE for 3.1...

    You get the idea.

  • Cool music!

  • Reason #4 is incorrect. Win2k came with IE 5.0. IE 6 came out with XP.

  • IE6 rocked!

  • no #1 reason to LOVE IE6: you're a RETARD!!!

  • LOL! Internet Explorer 6. Heck any version, it doesn't matter. If you use IE to browse the internet, you deserve to get hacked, keylogged and your privacy to be invaded by strangers.

People don't switch to Firefox or Google Chrome because it looks nicer than IE... people switch because you CAN'T GET HACKED WITH FIREFOX OR GOOGLE CHROME!!! Plus once you get used to Firefox or Chrome, you'll never switch to IE ever again because it does everything IE does but is more secure!

  • Microsoft=fail

  • IE6 without plugins is slower than firefox with plugins.

  • When IE6 reaches software hell, all my lost data will be waiting!

  • I also use IE6 because it has the best layout and you can do all things you need easily! And it is fast!

But now, Youtube will no longer support the "best browser in the world"! Nooo!

IE6 is wonderful, it was introduced in August 2001 and that was an awsome time for me! I love it!

  • @traktorensteff go shoot yourself

  • NO!

Makes me feel like it's August 2001!

    And THAT is awesome!

  • Internet explorer is very bad at complying with web standards. Web standards are the essence of the internet. It wouldn't work without them. Using Internet explorer makes you more vulnerable to spyware.

Make the internet a better place. Download an open source browser like Firefox, or Chrome. Safari is partially open source.

    I still use IE6;

I don't like higher versions, as when you install it, it changes the windows explorer icons and they look inconsistent with the rest of the OS.

I don't like firefox either, as it does not feel as formal, or buisiness like.

Its a browser; it dosent need to have themes, or flashy tabs.

It needs to have a simple and formal layout, which matches the operating system, and have advanced features in the options.

I will never change away from IE6

  • @danagol1985 Do you still write with a quill pen? I mean, who needs flashy things like ballpoint pens with ink in them?!

I'm far more concerned about computer security than whether the window looks consistent with the rest of the operating system.

  • SparkleWorld555:

I would upgrade to another borwser.

However I must have tried at least 10 different types, and just can't seem to get on with any of them. I may consider IE8, as that was the least worst of all of the newer ones I tried though.

  • @danagol1985 Firefox 3.6=best

  • it was good at the biggening but at the end well ??????

  • My mama used to say IE6 is like a box of chocolate , you never know what you gonna get.

  • Im still using Internet Explorer 6 (December 2009) and love it. Plain, simple easy ! Very few sites display properly but I have firefix on the side just in case... lol

  • 1999 baby :)

  • "Makes me feel like it's 1999!" lmao!!!!
