At the time of Uthman there were people who had their own copies of Quran and no body knew where they took it from. So the authentic and certified copy was saved while every other copy was destroyed. At the time of Uthman there were people who had their own copies of Quran and no body knew where they took it from. So the authentic and certified copy was saved while every other copy was destroyed. It was a good job and thats the reason that Quran don't have Old testament and new testament sort of thing. Abraham also had more than one wife, fix that one too...
