It is a shame to dub shows and movies, they should be enjoyed in their original language, else it's just a waste of the actors performance. Why the hell do it in the first place? Does germany consist entirely of small kids that are unable to read subtitles? geez

Because people don't want to read subtitles. It only sucks if there's no effort. Ever see dubbed anime? They actually ACT, not like English-dubbed Italian horror movies or something.

Also, some people can't read fast enough for subtitles.

There's no reason to have talented actors in a movie, if the country just dub their voices. The voice is a big part of acting, so it's really retarded when entire countries dub movies, and claim "I cant concentrate on the movie if I have to read"...I'm 17 years old, and I can watch an english movie, entirely without subtitles, and understand everything...so if some 40 year old german guy says that, it's really sad.
