  • Magnifique!!!!

  • Just dont' like this song, . .. can't see the hype over it.

  • @GaryNull

Yeah, just listen to Justin Bieber.

  • @wysiwyg248 no thank you, Jeff Berlin for me

  • great tone. may i ask how do you come up with this sound?

  • props dude. good job

  • u are out of tune and it is killing my ears. good playing though

  • @TheSupnickmon are you deaf? his intonation is spot on.

  • @rexasul first of all intonation is not the same as being in tune. and second if u think this is in tune u clearly don't have much musical experience

  • @TheSupnickmon Alright, so I'll go adjust his bridge and fuck with the intonation and you can say that again. My musical experience is only just developing, but seeing as I don't have perfect pitch and there's no harmony, it sounds just fine to me. Don't be such a ridiculous cunt.

  • @rexasul woah, calm down man. im complimenting him and giving a bit of constructive criticism. u don't have to freak out

  • and what about the intro XD ;)

  • Hello! How you do it how Jaco sound is for the guitar? Very good his sound and you do it very well! :)

  • Parfait!

  • as i can see the pickups are not stock

    are those EMG'S

  • buen trabajo nuy bien tocado .

  • pretty good man

  • man you're slightly detuned, careful with that

  • GREAT tone

is that MIM? what kind of pick ups are those?

  • Sounds great!

Isn't the low note in the"A" section an Eb instead of a E natural?

  • dude perfect!

  • Show

  • That, my friend, is really good! Nicely played Brother !

  • Drums supplied by eZdrummer.

  • buenisima, felicitaciones

  • Yes, that is goregous. Nice tone.

  • nice bass

  • good job ^^ well done

  • Good finger job, but the bass is out of tone or you don't hit the notes right :/

  • The intonation sounds pretty damn good to me! Lovely dampened notes as well. You've really got the feel for this one.

  • your a very good player, but not on fretless, often out of tone.

    Sorry

  • Thanks for the slowed down segment at the end! Learning that bit of the song is a bit tricky.

  • perfect

  • Do you really have to use the 3 finger technique to play this song? At first I thought it wasn't necessary, but then I saw MarloweDK (btw, MDK kicks ass!) play the song using three fingers, which got me confused... Sorry if it's a stupid question...

  • If you're talking about your right hand: You don't have to, but it's more comfortable if you can. You can technically use one finger if that one finger is fast enough.

  • Use 3 fingers in Heavy Metal xD

  • WTF!!!!! fuck u are a loser why did u compare jaco (jazz) with heavy metal??????

  • I didn't compare Jaco himself, i compared the 2 finger and and the 3 finger technique. The 3 finger technique is good but never say "I can't play this part because I can't do the 3 finger technique" because the 3 fingers technique is a support not a must.

  • you play with as many finger as you want,

    it really doesn't matter.

otherwise guys like Geddy Lee or Bernards Edwards would not be good bass players (according to you teacher's theory)

this video is cool congrats to the player

  • Agree. I play with one, two, or three. It's all about being able to do it all.

  • You can do 2 fingers at all songs almost, you will have problems at Heavy and Death Metal - but you should use your 3rd finger for muting if you want to use it. I mute my strings very well, but I don't really know how I do it :p But the 3rd finger is not neccessary for playing fast. That is my opinion :)

  • well, to be honest

I like to think that there're no rights and wrongs

on that matter, as long as the player sounds good...

it's ok for me if the play with his nails, thumb ,

    pink finger :) :)

may I suggest you a video?

Watch John Entwistle's Bass Guitar Master Class.

    Keep playing :) :)

    Peace

  • True true, there is no right and wrong way to play AS LONG AS IT WORKS :)

And you can do the same thing with 2 fingers instead of 3 and use the third finger to something else so you have an extra finger to help :)

  • Jaco used 3 fingers quite often. I'm not sure where you learned playing with 3 fingers is a bad habit.

  • in what hand??

  • @SalvationHasCome You're teacher may have an academic education and lessons from bass celebrities, but Geddy Lee, Les Claypool and Steve Bailey ARE bass celebrities. Playing with 3 fingers is not wrong, if it works for you. Just cos you can't do it with 2 fingers and you need an extra finger to help you doesn't make it a bad habit.

  • @taufoofar Its harder for me personally to use three fingers lol XD

  • sounds lyk jaco playing the bass.. !

kip up d gud work men!

  • great job. your sound is clean and you have great timing. any tips for practicing it? i'm having a bit of trouble..

  • se intoni il basso è meglio!

  • tempo is perfect

  • Il basso andrebbe accordato...xD

  • its a squire :(

  • 5/5 ..i cant understand how can somebody say that this is out of tune :S:S:S:s

  • INTONATION

  • Maybe its just the drums but this sounds a bit mechanical.

  • Amazing so clean sounds perfect! A++! you kempt in time with perfect timing!

  • vale la pena verlo

  • sounds out tune

  • maybe cause its a fretless

  • you had the wrong beat playing to it. it makes it sound corny. but man, phat bassing man. sweet sound

  • nice technique. nice sound :D

  • !!!!!!!!! great!

  • Oh yes! the right touch and the right sound. That bass line is groovy as hell... Jaco would be proud.

  • your ghost noting sounds incredible.. great work brother.

  • very good man

  • Super LeSebu ;)

  • Real clean ad smooth i've been trying to figure out the chorus of this song by ear but since theres so much going on its real hard

  • Your intonation is a little off in the chorus, but you play cool and relaxed!

  • This is good playing! But your intonation is a bit off.

Really, i shouldn't complain... my intonation isn't better at all :)

  • nice and smooth technique. like it. especially the slow down/training thing at the end.

  • Wow! I don't know this song, nevertheless, there's one thing I can say : you rule! You own the groove dude!

  • I agree, he locked the groove down nice and tight. PLus he got the tone just right. Last video I saw of someone playing this song he had his sound much too "crisp".
